Pirate's Hat

Note: I do not own Criminal Minds or Pirates of the Caribbean. Spoilers for Fisher King.
There was a loud thump from upstairs causing Haley Hotchner to pause as she walked through the front door.
"Jack? Aaron?" she called up and received silence as an answer. Slightly disturbed she set the McDonald's bags she had been carrying on a nearby table, closed the door, and quickly headed towards the stairs. Just as she reached the foot, there was a grunt and then seconds later a shriek that was so high pitched that only a child could have made it. Now fully alarmed, she ran up the stairs, taking them two at a time and threw open the door to her son's room. The sight she saw was thankfully unexpected.
"Arggh, Jack Sparrow! You'll pay for that!" Her husband said, pressing a fake sword to their son's throat, a pirate's hat atop his head.
"That's Captain Jack Sparrow to you, Barbossa, you slimy dog!" Jack shouted back, gleefully.
"You won't be even that soon, because now I'm going to… tickle you to death!" With that "Barbossa" leapt forward, lifted "Captain Sparrow" into his arms, and proceeded to tickle his stomach, causing him to erupt in giggles.
"Mommy!" He shouted, "Rescue me from the pirate!" Aaron turned to face her, grinning, apparently just realizing she was there.
"Mommy?" She asked in a shocked tone, coming over to where they were standing and draping an arm over Captain Barbossa's shoulder. "Don't you mean, Miss. Turner?" She pulled her husband into a kiss, which he returned eagerly until Jack interrupted them.
"Ewww!" He said, making a face. "Elizabeth loves Will, not Barbossa!" The two of them broke apart laughing and Aaron put Jack back on the floor.
"Well," Haley said crouching down, "Miss. Turner just decided that Captain Barbossa is more handsome."
"That's disgusting!" Jack said wrinkling his nose.
"Then I guess Captain Sparrow doesn't want the Happy Meal Miss Turner just brought home for him." Jack let out a gasp and dashed downstairs to protect his meal and Haley stood up to follow him only to be pulled into a tight hug from behind.
"And where might Miss Turner be going?" Captain Barbossa asked kissing the back of her neck.
"Mmm," She said, turning around and capturing his lips. "Miss. Turner is going to get her own McDonald's meal and if Captain Barbossa doesn't hurry up she's going to eat his too." With a laugh she pulled away and dashed downstairs with her husband following in pursuit.
Later that night as they watched Pirates of the Caribbean, Haley curled up next to Aaron on the couch with Jack playing with his action figures of the characters on the floor, she leaned into her husband's side, "Honey?" she whispered in his ear
"Mmhm?" He replied, eyes fixed on the screen.
"You can keep the hat."
End Note: I know that Jack's a little young for Pirates of the Caribbean but I just thought this would be so cute.

End Note: I know that Jack's a little young for Pirates of the Caribbean but I just thought this would be so cute.
