Franks POV:
i pulled away from gerards hand as i felt a sort of shock tingle through my body. i blushed and smiled. gerard smiled too. i looked at kat and was looking at me with joyfull eyes. she looked as if she had zoned out.
"uh...are you okay kat?" i asked as i waved my hands infront of her eyes. she snapped back into reality and smirked before a look of embrassment crept across her face.
"oh god...terribly sorry!" she smiled. i noticed she had an awesome cockney accent. she must have been from london.
"oh it's fine...it's just you er..." i started as i fumbled my words. she laughed a threw her head back as she tossed her dark hair behind her cheeks. i studied her features. she had lovely blue eyes that threatened to hypnotise you if you stared into them for too long. i also noticed that her eyes were framed by eyeline that flicked up at the corners...just like the ancient eygptians and she was wearing an extremely bright shade of pink lipstick that made her pale white skin shine. she was very pretty. i would have kissed her if i wasn't gay. then i suddenly noticed i had been staring at her for at least a few minutes. i blushed and she laughed again.
"don't worry frank,lots of people get lost in my eyes!" she smiled as she winked at me. what if she though i was leading her on. i started to panick.
"again frank! don't worry. i'm not interested in you frank! and yeah...i zone out alot." kat chirped. she laughed and turned to gerard.
"so gerard, are you actually gonna say anything or are you just gonna keeping hiding behind your 'needing to be brushed' hair?" she joked as she shoved gerard. he lifted his head up and groaned. i looked at his face. it was really cute and his eyes were like shining beacons of hope. he was gorgeous...really fucking gorgeous but i could tell i wasn't wanted here.
"oh...it's fine. look, i'll just go sit over there if you don't want me here." i sighed as i gathered up my things. i stood up and plonked them at an empty desk. i lowered myself into my seat a sighed. great, my new school hates me too.
Gerards POV:
i watched frank pick up his stuff and slump down into a chair. i mentally slapped myself. why the hell didn't i stop him? why didn't i tell him to stay. frank sighed.
"Kat, I messed up." i whispered. she stared at me with a 'DUH!' kinda look. i sighed.
"look gee. we'll find him after lesson and drag him off to meet the guys!" she smiled. kat always knew what to do.
"yeah i guess... but isn't that kidnapping?" i asked. she grinned widely.
"so?! we need to show frank that he's got some friends." she pouted with a playful smirk. kat was right. we needed to show frank that he had some friends. i was sure the guys were gonna love him.
"okay." i laughed. kat laughed too. frank turned around to us and i saw tears in his eyes. i felt a pang of guilt and sighed over to kat.
"kat, he's crying..." i sighed. i could feel a lump in my throat. i really didn't want frank to be sad. just then the bell rang and frank grabbed his stuff and ran out. me and kat ran after him but he was gone.
"quick, lets find him!" kat said as she grabbed the scruff of my neck and dragged me into the corridor. we ducked behind the history lockers and waited for the hall to fall silent. as soon as it was quiet we jumped up and started to search for frank. it had been 20 minutes and we decided to give up.
"Kat...i can't find him anywhere. he probally went to class." i sighed. frank probally hates us even more by not turning up for class. he probally thinks we're avoiding him, which we weren't. why would anyone want to avoid frank. he was drop dead gorgeous. i sulked and turned to leave. kat followed.
"yeah gee.. i guess you're right. i hope we can be mates with fr---" kat began but then she stopped. i turned to her and she looked as if she'd seen a ghost.
"Kat whats up?" i smiled trying to walk on but she directed her gaze at me and pointed out of the window. i turned and saw frank. on the roof of the science block. standing up. i panicked.
"KAT WE HAVE TO SAVE HIM!" i screamed as i pulled her to the stairs. we ran up them (almost tripping a few times) and reached the top. i burst through the doors and saw no-one. no frank. no life. i fell to my knees and screamed into the sky. kat followed and saw that there was no-one up there and copied me. just then we felt someone touch our shoulders. i turned and saw frank who had a concerned look in his eyes.
"G-Guys....what are you doing here?!" he asked. me and kat hugged him tight and smiled.
"What Are You Doing Here!" kat beamed, emphasizing every word. frank shoved us away and looked towards the edge.
"i thought about it, i was gonna jump." he sighed. i felt a knot in my stomach twist into a ball. how could he think of leaving this world!
"WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE!" i screamed. frank stepped away and sighed.
"cause ,my life sucks. i have nothing to live for...wait..why do you care? last time i looked at you, you just looked away and groaned." i turned towards to edge.
"now if you don't mind...i'm going." he sighed as he inched closer to death.
Franks POV:
i stepped closer to the approaching edge. it felt so nice to know that my life could be over if i just jumped. as i was about to depart the earth when i felt something slam into my side, sending me flying to the floor. i opened my eyes and saw kat staring at me with worried eyes.
"YOU ARE NOT FUCKING LEAVING!" she grimaced as she let tears seep through her eyes. just then i realised that those people cared about me. i realised that i had friends. i sat up and pulled kat into a hug.
"God.. i'm so sorry.. i thought i had nothing to live for." i sobbed as she held me closer.
"you do have something to live for...us...me and gerard." she smiled. gerard sat down next to me and put his arm around my shoulder. it felt nice.
"yeah..sorry i was being a jerk earlier...it's just i'm nervous among new people." gerard muttered. i looked at him in the eyes and smiled as his gaze locked with mine.
"it's fine..i shouldn't have been so 'touchy-feely', y'know." i sighed. kat dragged me and gerard up and started to hum. you could still hear her cockney accent. it made me smile.
" okay boys. we have 3 hours until the end of the school day so...to the normal place gee?" kat smiled. i was confused and turned to gerard. his cheeks had become stained with blush, probally because if the use of his nickname.
"Gee?" i smiled and gerard turned even brighter red.
"Uhhhh.....never mind. okay lets go to the place!" he smiled before dragging me and kat off the roof and down a hall.
"where are we going?" i smiled as we started to run. gerard and kat were infront of me.
"you'll see frankie boy... you'll see." kat smiled before kicking open a large door and letting the outside sun drain the halls in light.
