“You do too sweetie!” He mocked, shrugging off the compliment, oblivious to the sincerity in my voice.
“Fuck off.” I growled. Frank stopped and raised his eyebrows as if he could read my mind.
“You scare me sometimes.” He giggled. He had the cutest laugh, if there was an competition for cute laughs, he would win first prize, along with extra credit for his adorable smile.
“Well I’d better go before Mom files a missing persons report.” I sighed looking down at my watch.
“Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow.” Frank frowned, “We should go up to the forest after school.”
“I’ll bring a light and we can have some fun.” I grinned.
“Bye G.” He hugged me. I wanted to squeeze him and never let go.
“Later, Frankie.” I stood at the door and took one last deep breath in, he smelled of musk and cigarettes.
I walked along, scuffing my converse on the sidewalk.
