Chapter 5
Opening his eyes to see Slash sat by the wall in his bedroom Duff frowned “Slasher, man what’s wrong?” Slash stood and came closer to the bed. As he did Duff noticed there was a difference in how he walked, dragging his feet and seemingly not wanting to do something but not having the choice “Slash?” looking up into the guitarist’s face he realised Slash’s eyes were empty, controlled by something else. Slash raised his arm, in his hand he held a long hunting knife “Slash?”
A fast blur and suddenly there was a sharp pain in his gut. Duff’s hands grabbed at the pain, gasping staring up at his ‘friend’ terrified, Slash raised the knife again and brought it roughly across Duff’s throat, almost cutting halfway into Duff’s neck, the bassist jerked a few times, (body reflexes) then went limp. Suddenly the feeling in Slash’s eyes was back and he stared down at Duff with a horrified look on his face.
“SLASH!” Axl yelled and slapped him roughly, the guitarist moaned and sat up, pushing the singer away. He was sat on Steve’s floor facing the door, Steve himself lay on his bed, out for the count, the dreams seeming to have stopped for the time being
“Where’s Duff?” Slash asked, standing and going into the bathroom to splash water onto his sweaty face
“With Izzy, they gone to get the demonologist from the airport, it’s pretty much just me and you, I thought you were looking after Steve but came to check and found you on the floor” Slash breathed a sigh of relief, it hadn’t been real.
“Axl, have I ever thanked you for letting us all stay here?” he asked, smiling at the other. Axl smiled back
“Well, you could always thank me now” Slash leaned forward, his lips almost touching the other mans and breathed
“Thank you” before leaning back, Axl moaned in annoyance, making Slash chuckle before he gave the man a proper kiss.
