I knew something awful was going to happen, I guess it was just wishful thinking that he was going to jump in front of the car and Anna and Gerard would go see if he was alright, then maybe Judith abducts Gerard... Not have his rib cage crushed! But I like your version better, can't wait to see the next chapter! -

I have to say, this is probably the best cliffhanging chapter you've written so far. The update system at fic sites gives everyone that "cliffhanger, gratification, cliffhanger, gratification" mentality between EVERY chapter, but THIS was great :) Keep up the great writing. I'm loving every second of it! :)
