Silent loneliness

I glance at the clock, it's unmoving hands stares back at me.
Here, I am forever entertaining Loneliness.
I laugh bitterly as we reminisce upon my eighteen silent winters in her keep.
She laughs heartily at my company,
and pours me yet another drink
as the sun dies and is replaced by starless night sky.
The only sound being my tears shattering on desolate ground,
and the echoes of other's laughter around me...
