Hogwarts's education was useless in preparing students for real-life tasks, such as a tri-wizard tournament. What should Harry do?
(#) jabarber69 2011-06-11 07:24:52 AMHey I saw you havent gotten any reviews to this story yet, so I figure I would leave mine....well at least my opinion why you havent received any yet and I would ask you to remember the golden rule "opinion's are like assholes, everybody's got one!"
well for starters I figure most people that check this site out also go to fanfict(dot)net and have read your story there first so why then leave another post for the same story unless you dont actually have a life like me.....
sorry just being scarcastic!
I would like to say this was one hell of a story and that you are one hell of a writer, I have several of your stories saved on my harddrive and will and I do believe I did reread some after you posted this, so in closing thanks for writing this and other great hp fanfictions!!!
(#) michae1ange1o 2011-06-12 08:18:39 AMOk, I have no idea why some people have rated this story funny, especialy since it's a drama, angsty and a tad dark. I still really liked it though, I'm shocked Harry only made do with the Hogwarts library but I figure it was the easiest thing to get at, I'd have flew up to the headbastards office and robbed that too and pissed in Snapes potions supplies. But thats just me being a bastard.
- Well, this story does have its amusing aspects but it's quite a drama. I rather suspect that Harry cleaned out more than just the Library (that's just the first place his actions were noticed) and I do hope that he found a way to take care of Hermione on the non-magical side of things (I do highly approve of his response to Durmstrang's behavior and his treatment of this Krum was fully justified. 'Twould be rather interesting to see the ramifications of this story for Dumbledore, Fudge, et al. as things move forward and Harry's elsewhere (particularly if this Tom did have horcruxes and a way to return yet again - and this time Harry wouldn't be around).
(#) aredphxbird2 2011-06-15 01:39:48 PMI liked this story very much.I would be very angry myself after being riped off Dumbledore and Snape and Fudge himself awarding the prise money to Krum posthumiously.I wonder if Snape has any newly acquired Dragon parts from his potion stockroom along with the hogwarts books which are fitting compensation to Hermoine.I also hope that Hermoine recovers from her rape and lives a long life with Harry as his friend, confident, future wife, and mother of his children. When Voldemort does come back without harry, good luck your going to need it.
(#) twistyguru 2011-07-13 05:35:44 PMVery nice! I see the similarities to 'Unconventional Harry', but as the idea is so blatantly obvious, great minds do work alike...and occasionally, a knucklehead will also get a great idea! snicker
If I were Harry, I'd be pissed off, too.
I always enjoy stories about a Harry who acts in a competent fashion, not the passive doormat he turns out to be in canon.
- Cute. And really, you portrayed “the wizarding world” (sans Hermine
and Hedwig) exactly as I can gather they would react.
As for my opinion… thebooktheif[sic!] has already written it all ;)
If you’re a computer conslutant (not a typo…) try AO3 instead, FFN doesn’t work with Lynx and relies much too heavily on ECMAscript. Just a hint.
