Pizza's for dinner, neat-person has trashed room
After lunch, Gerard and I were sitting on the couch again with Donna sitting on the ground in front of us, with her head in Gerard’s lap. Yeah... I think she like him too, but then again, Donna is another fan who adores all of us from the band. And it figures that she’d fall for Gerard... the front man. Oh well, I am not jealous. I don’t need the attention.
We were watching some sci-fi British TV show, called Doctor Who, on a DVD. Donna said that it was her favorite show at the mo... I dunno... I guess that it's all right. The episode that we were watching was set during World War 2 in England, and there was some kid in a gas mask who everyone was afraid of. When people started to become like that kid... well it got kinda freaky... but interesting!
Gerard was absorbing all of what was happening, laughing at the same parts as when Donna jumped. I'm guessing that she's seen it before, but still got caught by surprise. at the end of the second part, Donna jumped up and announced that that was enough for now. Gerard looked disappointed. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Gerard, it's on DVD, you can buy it and watch it some other time." I said. Gerard poked his tongue out at me, like what a little kid would do. Real mature Gee... who was the older one?
"Seeing that it is now 5 PM, we'd better think about dinner. What do you guys want?" Donna asked us after she slipped the disk back into it's case.
"Pizza?" Gerard asked.
"That sounds good to me." I added.
"Okay... Donna started to say. "What do you guys want?" she disappeared into the kitchen for a moment before coming back, and chucked a brochure for a pizza joint at us.
"Meat lovers for me," Gerard put in suddenly. "actually, get two... Frankie would love one as well, seeing that he love meat." you bastard I thought.
I lifted my feet up and tried to shove Gerard off the couch with them, which was hard coz he was bigger and heavier than me. "In your fucking dreams, Gerard Arthur Way."
"What would you know about my dreams, Frankie dear?" Gerard replied cheekily. "Shit!" he cried out as soon as I managed to shove him off the seat. I lunged across the couch and was about to dive on top of Gerard to tell him to take it back, when someone hooked me around the waist and pulled me away from Gerard, who was rolling on the floor, cacking himself laughing.
"BOYS! Stop!" Donna cried out behind me. God, she was strong.
"We were just joking around, Donna." I said.
"Yeah." Gerard put in, getting up off the ground and patting his messed-up hair back into place. "Don't worry, we always do this."
I could almost visualise Donna raising an eyebrow, but she let me go.
"Okay, so Meat lovers for the carnivore and what would the herb-a-saurus like?" Donna asked me. I thought for a moment.
"The Vegetarian Supreme. and tell the people who work there that if there's even a bit of flesh on my pizza, I'm gonna eat them, okay?"
"Coolies." Donna said before leaving the room to order the pizza's.
Donna came back in from the kitchen after ordering dinner. I noticed that my waist was still a bit sore from where Frank had been kicking me off the couch.
"While we're waiting for dinner to arrive, we gotta figure out where Frank's gonna sleep." Donna said. "You can either share the double bed in the spare room with Gerard or one of you can use my room."
"But where will you sleep?" I asked Donna.
"On the couch. it's not that bad, and I used to do it all the time while I was staying at Chris' coz his parents didn't want us sharing a room, which is understandable."
"Frankie can have the spare bed, I'll have the couch." I replied.
"Gerard, no. I can't do that to you, and I wouldn't let Frank sleep on the couch either. you are sleeping in a propper bed." Donna said firmly.
"Gee," Frank whispered to me, and failed coz he was still loud, "Donna is taller than you, quiet strong and is the owner of the house. Do as she says." Frank gave up on his failed-whisper and just spoke the last part.
"Agree with Frankie" Donna whispered loudly to me, before both her and Frank started to giggle. I smiled a bit.
"Fine." I said out loud. "But I'm keeping my stuff in the spare room so that I don't mess up your room."
"Have you seen my room? how could you possibly mess it any more?" Donna said, taking both ma and Frankie by the hand and dragging us to her room. I notice that there was a poster of a snow leopard stuck to the front.
"Prepare for an eyesore..." Donna warned us before pushing the door open.
"Holy shit Donna, when did the bomb drop?" Frank asked.
Donna had kept the rest of the house tidy, orderly, et cetera, even her art studio was organised, but her room was totally trashed. her stuff was lying all over the floor, stacks of books sitting against the walls, here desk was covered in paper and other bit-and-pieces. the only thing missing was the 'floor-drobe'
"Back at my parents, I was always being shouted at to tidy my room, my only sanctuary there. so this is me being the stubborn goat and having the trashed bedroom that my 'rents would have killed me for having." Donna explained. "But I keep the rest of the house orderly so I don't feel as if I'm surrounded by chaos. only in my room."
Frank couldn't say anything, neither could I. there was no way that this could belong to Donna. But this was her being rebellious... which was appealed to me. I love rebels.
"I can tidy the room up before you go to sleep if you hate the mess. I don't care, and I've been meaning to tidy it up soon, I was getting sick of the look." Donna said to me.
"Don't worry." I replied as someone knocked at the door.
"PIZZA'S HERE!" Frank cried out, and dashed out of the room and ran to the front door
I watched from behind Frank as he opened the door.
"Pizza dude, I'm guessing?" Frank asked the guy at the door.
"Yeah... A Meat Lovers and Vegetarian Supreme?" Replied a female voice. okay... not a guy.
"That's us." Called out Gerard, who was standing next to me. I stepped forward and pushed past Frank.
"How much?" I asked.
"twenty- one sixty."
"I'll pay." Gerard said and he started to pull five's out of his wallet. American money I saw. I quickly shoved thirty bucks into the chick's hand and muttered "Keep the change." I grabbed the boxes and closed the door as Gerard looked up and started to object.
"Donna... I was gonna pay!" he exclaimed.
"With American currency?" I asked, carrying the hot food into the lounge room.
"Shit... wrong wallet..." Gerard mumbled, searching his pockets for his other wallet.
"Don't worry about it... just spending time with you guys is enough for me." I said, giving the boys their pizza.
"Donna... where's yours?" Frank asked, peering around me to see if I was hiding it behind my back to trick them.
"The dude didn't bring three... what a rip off." Gerard said. I shook my head.
"I didn't feel like pizza. I'm gonna have a salad. Do you guys want some?" both the boys shook their heads.
"Okay." I said, walking into the kitchen and pulling a bag of mixed salad out of the fridge. I pored some of it into a bowl, picked up a fork and walked back into lounge room. I sat my salad on the smallish coffee table, next to the boxes of pizza and found that the boys were over by the TV, picking out a movie to watch. I stood back and let them squabble for a few minutes before Gerard put a disk into the DVD player.
"What are we watching? I asked as Gerard and Frank sat down on the couch.
"Star Wars” they both replied at the same time. “The fourth one, coz the new ones are shit.” Added Frank.
