It was a beautiful afternoon in New Olympia while Jay trudged through the city's streets on his way to the brownstone. He was considering several new possibilities on how to capture Cronus, their most hated enemy. Jay thought he heard a low growling noise, but brushed it off as a passing car. But he realized now that it had to be some type of animal. He took out his sword and pivoted to view the creature, but was knocked clean off his feet. Jay managed to see it: a grey, brooding animal that appeared to be a cross of a wolf and a husky. "That's one hell of a big dog" he muttered, and pulled himself to his feet. "Here, doggy, doggy, doggy". The beast charged again, but this time bit him on the arm. "Gah!" Jay yelped, and stumbled a bit as the beast pounded down the street, into the dark forest. Jay wiped some blood from the wound. "Whatever it was, i hope it doesn't come back." He diverted back to the main road and walked home.
"Odie, watch out for that cyborg!" Herry pointed out as he and Odie played a multiplayer video game. Archie laid on the couch behind them, watching, wondering when his turn should appear. Theresa entered the room with Neil. "Have any of you seen Jay or Atlanta?" she asked, as Neil and Archie picked up two extra controllers and joined in on the game. Herry began to reply. "Atlanta is at the school with Artemis and Jay is-" "Home" Jay finished as he shut the door behind him. Odie paused the game to give Jay a high five. "Dude, what happened to your arm?" Odie asked, noticing the bite. "Oh, someone's dog, it's nothing" Jay replied, jacking Odie's spot in the game. "Hey, man, not cool" Odie jokingly replied. "Dog eat dog world, man". Atlanta came charging in. "Cronus is at the Nature Park, he has some sort of Wolf-dog pack with him. "Wolf-dogs? Sounds dangerous, i think i might stay in tonight, you know, relax, maybe watch a movie" Neil replied, trying to slink off to his room. "Nice try, everyone let's go!" Jay commanded, dragging Neil along by the shirt.
