It was a sunny Saturday and the boys had decided to go to meet up at the movies to see the new Terrance and Philip movie. Kyle had left five minutes ago and on the way had come into step with Cartman. It was only the second time Kyle had seen his frenemy since he'd come back but already Kyle had to laugh. Cartman hadn't lost any weight at all; and, if the rumors were true, he'd gotten kicked out of fat camp!
"What is it?" Cartman asked.
"Oh, nothing." Kyle snickered, then burst out laughing. "I-I can't believe you got kicked out of fat camp!"
" Hey! It's not funny!" Cartman snapped.
"Yeah it is!" Kyle chuckled. "What happened? Were you-"
"Ay!" Cartman suddenly leapt forward with a snarl and grabbed Kyle's collar. "Don't you laugh! Don't you ever laugh at that!" Kyle's eyes widened; the way the other boy was looking at him… Kyle was more scared of Cartman than he'd been of anything in his life. Finally the large boy released him andturned away. "You don't know what they did to me." He whispered.
"Cartman…" Kyle reached forward and put a hand on the other boy's shoulder.
Cartman sobbed. "It was awful, Kahl! I've never gone through that sort of torture before and I'd never wish it on anyone. Not even…" Cartman sniffed. "You!"
Kyle gasped and whirled Cartman around. "What did they do to you, Dude?"
"Oh…oh…don't worry about it." Cartman chuckled nervously. "I-"
"No! Tell me Cartman! You need to talk to someone about this!"
"I-I-I,"Cartman stammered then, "Ohhoho!" Cartman fell forward into Kyle's chest. "Ahahah, hahaha!" He cried. "I-i-it was awful, K-k-kahl!"
"That's it," Kyle soothed, wrapping his arms around his frenemy, "let it out."
"They made me exercise. Run a mile every morning and do jumping jacks every afternoon! In the evening we had to swim around and around in the lake or sometimes do pushups! And to eat! They gave us only carrots and protein bars for meals. And only soybean pudding for dessert!"
"Soy bean pudding?" Kyle cried. "Oh, how could they- I mean it's just- oh Cartman!
"I tried to run away!" Cartman looked up into Kyle's face. "But they masqueraded as ice cream salesmen, locked me in the trunk of a truck, and took me back. And they acted so-so happy about it! They wouldn't listen to me! I begged them! I begged them to give me some donuts and let me go! But they didn't listen! They didn't listen! Ohhohoho!" Cartman collapsed back on Kyle's chest.
"It's okay, Cartman." Kyle reassured rubbing his friend's back. "I'm here. You're safe here. I won't let them send you back there. You're safe."
