Gerard's P.O.V

I was surprised at relieved I was to let Mikey know what was going on. I expected to get worse from him, but then again, Mikey was still sleepy.

Frank and I went back to watching the movie. I wasn't really paying attention to it, I was wondering what Donna was up to. Towards the end of the movie, Donna still wasn't back. I wanted to know where she was, so I told Frank that I was going to go and use the toilet.
I crept through the house, trying to find Donna. She wasn't in the backyard where I could see, or in the spare room, kitchen, spare room, bathroom or the art studio. I was walking up to the front door to see if she was sitting out on the porch, when I noticed that there was a light coming out from under Donna's bedroom, the door was slightly open. I peered through the crack and saw the Donna was curled up on her bed, already changed into her pyjamas. She was talking on her phone.

"Chris, you already know about that... Oh, really?" Donna laughed.

Now that I knew where Donna was, I turned around to go back to the lounge room. Then Donna's tone changed a quieter, faraway one.

"Yeah, I do. A lot. I just didn't... don't know how to say it" she trailed off as she listened to what Chris was saying. "So you're expecting me to straight-out say 'Hey man, I dig you?'" Donna paused again. "Okay, so not like that. How about I just say 'hey, I love you'? Okay."

I decided that I should go back now, Frank was probably starting to think that I passed out on the loo or something. I softly ran back to the lounge room and jumped on the couch. Frank glared at me for a moment for interrupting halfway through a fight scene, but then went back to watching the screen.

My mind was now a million miles away, running over the words that I just heard Donna say. 'Yeah, I do. A lot... straight-out say... hey, I love you... I couldn't help wondering who she was talking about. Was she talking about some guy she knew that I haven't met? It could be Frankie... or me. I hoped to god that she was talking about me. I mean, yeah, she was a fan and most of them are always like "OMG I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER!" Most of the time it's just coz we're famous or money or because some people think of us as 'pretty boys'. They don't really love us. Donna hasn't been acting like a love-struck fan, she had been treating Frankie and me like one of her friends. The I remembered about yesterday when we first met, how Donna hugged me and said that she loved me and the songs. I dunno...

It wasn't until the credits were rolling when Donna came back onto the room.

"How's Chris?" I asked as Donna sat on the ground, facing the couch.

"Yeah, he's all right" Donna replied as she got back up to take the DVD out of the player.

"Anyone up for the next one?" Donna asked, holding up the 5th Star Wars movie.

"Yeah!" Frank yelled out from next to me.

"Sure." I said, quieter than Frank.

"Coolies... this is my favourite one out of the saga." Donna stated with a grin.

Donna's P.O.V

"So, what did you and Chris talk about?" Gerard ask. I knew that he was just curious, but an old habit kicked in.

"About stuff. You don't need to know." I snapped, something that I used to do all the time when I was still living with my parents.

Gerard looked a little shocked. "Whoa... I'm sorry. I won't ask again, if you don't want me to."

"Well Gerard, you shouldn't pry into other people's business." Frank put in.

"No, no, I'm sorry Gerard. I shouldn't have said it like that. It's just a default answer from when I was back with my 'rents. I know that you were just wondering. I'm sorry." I went and hugged Gerard to show him that I truly was sorry.

~ (about halfway through the movie)

"Well guys, I'm tired. I'm going to bed now. See you guys tomorrow." Frank stated and leaned over to hug Gerard, then he reached down and hugged me too and walked out of the room. We both stayed were we were for a few moments before Gerard spoke.

"You know that you can sit up on the couch now." Gerard said, but I had a feeling that he'd rather I didn't.

"Aww... but I'm comfortable!" I moaned. well I was, I had my head resting on his leg again. But I got up anyway, the couch was so much better than the floor.

I don't think I made it to the end of the movie. I ended up lying down with my head on the armrest and my legs curled up to my chest, my feet against Gerard’s leg. I grew really tired and couldn't keep my eyes open.

the next time I opened my eyes, I was no longer staring at the TV, sitting on the couch. I was lying on my bed, under my doona with Gerard lying on top of the bed next to me, staring at the ceiling.

"Gerard." I whisper in case he was asleep.

"Yeah?" Gerard replied softly, turning towards me.

"Why am I here?" I asked.

"In general or why you're in you bed." Smart arse.

"Why am I in bed where you should be, and why did you bother carrying me here when I'm now just gonna walk back to the couch?"

"Because I don't want to be too much trouble." Gerard replied.

"It's no trouble at all, I told you that I'm used to it." I explained, again

"You shouldn't be. Most people shouldn't be used to losing their place to sleep. It's just not right what you've been through." I noticed that I had the wall behind me and that Gerard would be able to stop me if I tried to crawl out of the bed.

"Well it's too late, it's already happened. and unless you have the Doctor's TARDIS, we can't change it. And even if we did have one, we would fuck up time and..." Doctor Who. I could go on about it for a while, but Gerard gently put a finger over my lips to shut me up.

"But you can forget what happened. Make a new start." Gerard said slowly.

"How can I forget the past?" I asked as I run my left hand over my right arm, feeling all of the red and silver scars. Gerard watched as I did this and sighed.

"I suppose you can't really forget then..." He trailed off and there was silence for a few minutes as I just stared at my arms.

"I'm going back to sleep. I gotta go to work tomorrow morning. And we might as well stay where we are."

"Okay, wake me up when you do." Gerard said, though it sounded more like a question. I giggled.

"You'll be woken up by my alarm. Trust me, you wont sleep through it."

then we both drifted off to sleep...

Okay, I'm sorry about what I said what the fans were 'supposedly' like. Poetic licence guys, PLEASE! lol. Just remember that this isn't and never will be real. Reviews welcome (even if it's payback from the people who I accidentally spamed... that was an accident and I'm really, really sorry.)
