(Rachele's POV)
"Gerard...Gerard..." Helena said.
It was March. We were in Gerard's grandmother's house, who I knew as Helena.
I swear, Gerard was crying so hard...This is the first time I ever saw like this. I never knew how much he loved his family, until now.
"What is it, Mama?" Gerard whispered, holding her hand.
"Please take care of Mikey..." Helena whispered and kissed his forehead.
"But mama, how can I take care of Mikey if I can't take care of myself?" Gerard cried.
"You can do it, Gerard." Helena looked kindly at Gerard, who was staring at her with his intensely hazel eyes, "You can do it, Gerard, I need you. I love you and Mikey, but soon, I'll have to go. It's harsh, but still Gerard, please. He needs it too."
I wasn't part of the family, and I was crying for so long.
"Rachele," Helena's whisper startled me, "Take care of Gerard, Rachele."
"Helena, Helena," I said, "I can't do it, I just can't..."
"But he needs it, Rachele." Helena's eyes were staring at me, "And you need him."
I cried. Hard. I fell down, and Helena took my hand and said, "Take care of Gerard..." and closed her eyes.
Three days later,
(Still Rachele's POV)
Walking in the church, I was in a black dress, like the rest of the people in this place.
I saw people, hugging each other, saying it's okay, and stuff.
I kept walking, to the middle pew, but...
"Hey Rachele." Gerard held to my elbow.
"Hi Gerard." I said, "You okay?"
"I'm okay." Gerard said.
"Gerard, Gerard," I started when I realized that he intended me to sit in front with him, "I don't think I'll be allowed, it's for family only and-"
"She would've wanted you to." Gerard put his arm around me and kissed me on the cheek, while Gerard's mom Donna and Frank's mom Linda said, "Hi darling."
We all stood up with the words, "We are gathered here today to commemorate..."
I was crying. The tears fell on my dress, ruining it, but I didn't care. Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray and Chloe wasn't crying, although Chloe was clenching her fists.
Gerard's speech was so heartbreaking.
"...She was that light in this world of lies and other than my family, my brother, my girlfriend and My Chemical Romance, she was the only one who cared. Despite me being ugly, she loved me. And if I ever get one last chance to see her, I'd smile forever."
Mikey held the incense still, and we all became silent.
