UPDATE: I've corrected all tense/grammatical errors. Sorry if there's still some left though; I'm not a Lord. I've also paragraphed. Thank you so so much for all your amazing reviews and rates! I love you! :)

Frank Iero's tape.

"Frankie," Frank stiffens, staring at the man on the screen. His long, red hair looks soft, eyes big and pained. They're slightly puffy, his pale cheeks whiter than usual. "I realize that because your watching this, I must be gone by now."

Nodding, Frank's eyes are glued to the screen.

"I've made a tape for everyone, so make sure they get theirs."

Looking to the small crate on his knee, Frank shuffles through the tapes. There's one for Bandit when she grows older, one for Lyn-z, one for Ray, one for Mikey and one for Donna. "I've got them." Frank says to Gerard's paused silhouette, his voice hoarse and strained. Clicking the play button, Frank holds back any tears. He can't deal with tears.

"I have.. a little confession, Frank.." Gerard says slowly, smiling very, very slightly.

Frank's once frantically beating heart stops.

"I loved you," Gerard admits. "Goddammit Frank, I did. Before I met Lyn-z though, because you are both incredible. But all those nights where I'd ruin myself on Drugs, booze, pills.. You were always there for me, Frank. And I don't know how I can ever thank you. I think that's when I fell; it wasn't since I first saw you. You were my best friend, Frankie. But goddammit, when you started helping me up from my downwards spiral and rocking out on your little guitar, you freaking pansy, I fell for you." Gerard huge, 2D hazel eyes are burning through Frank as he sits still, shaking and shocked. Frank loved him, too. And all this honesty and sadness, it's bringing a lump in Frank's throat and tears in his eyes.

"I loved you too." He whispers, running a hand through his hair and growling. There's a silence, a light fuzzing from the moaning tape.

Gerard's still staring into space, right past Frank, into his soul. Tears are rolling down the tattooed man's face and he sighs, shuddering more and more.

"And god, if you loved me too, I know we could've been something special. But here's the catch, I don't love you like I loved you yesterday, Frank. I was so head-over-heals in love with you I was scared you noticed; I was a giant, stuttering mess."

Frank smiles slightly; he was, but Frank thought it was the booze.

Gerard continues. "But then I found Lyn-z and she made me the happiest man alive. You had Jamia, so let's face it, nothing was going to happen. But god knows I wanted something to." Gerard takes a deep breath. "Okay, well enough of that. You've heard all you need to on that matter. I just wanted to tell you that you are my best friend and no matter what, I will stand by you. I might be dead, but goddammit, I will kick some motherfucking ass if some douche bag tries to fuck with Frank Iero. Because man, you are the greatest friend I could ever ask for. You're like a brother to me and I hope you know that. You and me kicked some ass, and I seriously love you man. You're a hyper, wise, rebellious individual with a lot of talent, but your loyal, and you would do anything. You're the kind of guy that would help help bury the body. You always were one of the greatest men I knew, Frank. Stay strong buddy, I'll see you in hell." Gerard smiles sadly, then clicks the off button on the camera, leaving a deep abyss and the light sound of the gentle buzzing.

Frank sniffs, wiping away his tears furiously. "You too man, you too."

Bandit-lee Way's tape.

Lyn-z sits with Bandit-lee Way on her knee, bouncing her up and down slightly. She's ignorant; no idea as what will be on this tape, but she's scared anyway. Pressing play, she smiles softly as the beautiful, ghostly face of her husband pops up on the screen.

"Hey there honey," Gerard greets softly.

Judging by the tears in his eyes and the paleness of his skin, Lyndsey can only presume what the tape's about.. But her guess is that they're goodbye tapes, made before Gerard died of Cancer. She can already feel mounds of tears building up in her eyes.

"This is one of the hardest tapes I'll have to make, Bandit. I left you when you were young, and no doubt Lyn-z's watched this with you when you where two, but I hope you're re-watching it now, when your older. I didn't want to leave, honey. You were one of the most important people in my life and dammit, I'll miss you, bandit." A tear falls down Gerard's cheek, but he just smiles sadly and knocks it away. "I'll miss you so much baby, so so much. You are my main priority and I'll be watching you from the stars. You and Lyn-z. I'll watch everyone. I'll watch you every night, every day.. and I will protect you. Know that I love you so much and I will always love you. I want you to live your life by the lines I sent out in my music. Be yourself, don't be scared, don't take anyone's crap and never, under any circumstances, let someone tell you you're not worth it or that you're not good enough. You are too good, baby. You're beautiful. You might just think I'm saying that because I'm your dad, well, I'm not. All women are beautiful and should be treated with respect. Everyone should. Treat others how you'd like to be treated, Bandit. You can get through anything baby girl, you're strong and I love you. Love is powerful, one of the best weapons. Never ever let it go. Your mother and I, we're in love. I'd expect her to find someone else; I'd be upset if she didn't because she wouldn't be moving on. Be nice. Be creative. Anything can be art, so take your weapon and run with it, honey. I wish I could see you grow up, but I can't. Bandit-lee Way, I love you. Never forget that."

Lyn-z eyes are glued to the screen, but she can barely see past the thousands of tears that blur her vision. Even Bandit's crying, but she's ignorant to what he's saying, how big the situation is. But she knows a goodbye when she sees one, and that was the biggest goodbye in the world.

Ray Toro's tape.

"Hey man."

Ray gasps, staring at his friend on the screen.

"I'm glad you got your tape. I don't really know what to say except thank you. Thank you for sticking by me, for being there for me, for helping me through everything. Thank you for being the responsible and fun one. Thank you, Ray, for everything you did for me. Putting me to bed, hiding my booze, helping me with anything.. Thank you for being my father and brother in one."

Ray nods, grinning. A small, silent tear trickles down his cheeks as he sighs. "Anything for you man," he says.

"So that's all this tape is. A big, huge thank you to you, because you are amazing. A true inspiration. The man with the plan. The fro." Gerard smirks, shaking his head. "Goodbye Ray, I'll miss you, brother."

The screen shorts out.

Ray's open mouthed, flabbergasted. Tears are falling down his face again and he wipes them away.
"I'll miss you too, Gerard."

Donna Way's tape.

"Mama." Gerard smiles, "you are the role model of my life. You are incredible. You're simply amazing. You cared for me and for Mikey, who at times, probably were a handful. But you coped and you raised us all by yourself. We were one happy family, raised together and raised knowing what's right." Gerard's crying silently now, he knew saying goodbye to his mum would be one of the hardest things he'd have to do.

Donna's sobbing, staring at her eldest son with such love and care; it's almost like he's there.

"This is one of the hardest tapes I'll have to make. You are my role model, my inspiration. You're incredible and when I knew that I wanted to save lives, you were a big part of that. You always believed in me, in Mikey. You always had faith or something to say. Do you remember when I wouldn't get up and you sometimes had to drag me out of bed? That was fun... I'll miss it, I really will. I love you mum, so so much. I can't tell you how much you helped me, inspired me.. all I can say is thank you, you're incredible. Keep it clean, mum. I love you." Gerard wipes away the last of his tears and shuts off the camera.

There's a fuzzing, and the screen cuts short, but suddenly, just as Donna starts sobbing in her hands, it lights back up.

"I almost forgot to tell you, it was me who broke that vase all those years ago.. Sorry about that," Gerard chuckles. "I love you mum."

And at last it's over, the fizzing screen suspending Donna in silence, leaving her to her thoughts.

Lyn-z Way's tape.

Lyn-z's face is tear stained from her daughter's tape, but still, she shakily pushes the video in, watching the screen fade into life.

"Hey beautiful." Gerard smiles, "this is definitely going to end with me in tears, baby. So don't laugh."

Lyn-z grins to herself, softly wiping away a tear that falls from her eyelid.

"Well, wow. Firstly, I want you to know I love you. I love you more than I can put in to words. You are my world, baby. I love you."

"I love you too." Lyn-z whispers, touching the screen lightly. She inhales deeply, more tears falling down her face.

"Secondly, I need you to know how much you helped me. You saved me from my world of darkness, more than once, and I am so grateful. I have never, ever been so madly in love with someone. You are so incredible, so inspirational. I admit, it was love at first sight for me. From the moment I saw you, smiling away, your huge, gorgeous brown eyes smiling back at me, I knew you were the one for me. And you saved me. So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. You are the most incredible woman I have ever met. I don't quite know how I can emphasize that enough, just know you are. You are my everything: my beautiful, amazing wife, savior and soul mate. I love you."

Lyn-z suppresses her gasping sobs, watching as her husband wipes away tears from his face.

"Thirdly, I have something for you. It's inside my leather jacket, left pocket."

Lyn-z pauses the tape, rushing around to fetch the jacket, then returns a few minutes later, a small box in her hand. She presses play.

"It's in a small white box with a red bow." He smiles softly, "open it."

She pauses the tape again, carefully unwrapping the box and gasping. Inside are two, beautiful heart-shaped lockets. On the inside on the shape, there's a small engraved lacing that follows the edges of the heart. Then, on the back engraved into it, is her name. Lyndsey Way. On the other necklace it says Bandit's name. Lyndsey gasps, wrapping it around her neck and holding it close to her chest.

"It's beautiful, it's so beautiful baby.." She cries, wiping the tears from her face as she rocks, backwards and forwards. Play.

"I hope you like them. Put anything you want inside, just know they're from me to you. I put a picture of me, you and Bandit in Bandit's, and I also put the same picture in yours. Take it out if you want baby, replace it was something more special. Don't give Bandit's hers until she's older, at the same time you give her the tape." He sighs deeply, and wipes away tear after tear. "I love you baby, sweet dreams."

Gerard smiles once more before clicking the camera off.

And he's gone. Forever.

Mikey Way's tape.

"Hey Mikes," Mikey gaps, running so he can sit on the table right near the screen. "Who would've thought I'd make these, huh? Dammit Mikey, this will probably be the hardest tape I'll have to make. I have been so close to you in the years and we've just gotten closer. When we were young we always used to be with each other. Be it watching a movie, using sticks for Lightsabers, chasing each other round the house.." Gerard scoffs. "Do you remember why we chased each other? I think it was when we were ill. All I remember is that it was fun and that I broke a vase once, then blamed it on you. Sorry about that, but you sure were loyal for not ratting me out."

Mikey takes a deep, stuttering breath, fighting off tears.

"I miss those days, don't you?"

"Yes.." Mikey whispers, sniffing.

"Anyway Mikes, I've got a lot I want to say to you, so listen up. You are so so incredible. I don't think you realize, but you are. You're so talented and geez kid, when did you get so good at Dungeons and Dragons, huh?" Gerard grins and shakes his head, then upholds his previous posture. "Mikey, I really need to say a big thank you to you. Thank you for sticking by me, staying with me, comforting me, helping me get sober, helping me with chores, helping me look after Bandit and helping me keep it together. Thank you for everything, you helped me way too much. I've always felt protective over you Mikes. If anyone shitted you, they'd be shitting me, too." Gerard exhales and shakes his head, his bright red hair falling in front of his white face. "I don't quite know how you did it, but you kept me sane. So thank you. I've got so much I want to say to you, but I don't know how. So, here's it abbreviated.."

Mikey's crying now, shaking his head in disbelief. He's not gone, he can't be gone. It's just not fair.

"Thank you, good luck, you're amazing and I love you... I suppose that's it, Mikey. I don't know what else to say. Words are lost with me" Gerard smiles softly, wiping away a tear. "Just, good luck with the future, stay strong. Wish Alicia my best and keep going. But most importantly: I love you, Mikes. Oh, don't forget to feed your dog. Love you bro." The video cuts off, leaving Mikey dripping in his thoughts and tears.

"I love you too, Gee. Sweet dreams, wherever you are."
