Emily gives Gerard a very important envelope.
I groaned as I opened my wardrobe doors, it wasn’t very varied three or four band tee-shirts, too many tank tops all of varied colours and a few long sleeved tops. I stood and decided to wear my ‘Beyond Recall’ shirt, a small band from back home in England, slide into my grey skinny jeans and put on my black converses. I look in the mirror and groan, then I smile and start singing ‘The End’, “If ya look in the mirror and don’t like what ya see you can find out first hand what it’s like to be me” I sing at the top of my lungs. I quickly comb my hair and fringe into place and a thin layer of liquid eye liner and walk out the room grabbing my black hoodie. I grab my iPod and shove the headphones into my ears and put ‘The Sharpest Lives’ on full blast and dance as I walk down the stairs, singing all the words. I walk through the living room and smile at Summer whose sat on the sofa watching TV. I walk into the kitchen, singing louder and louder and then I open my eyes and notice that Gerard is stood leaning against my kitchen counter, smiling at me. I turn a bright red colour and turn off my iPod.
“Oh..er..Sorry..I erm…Uh.Yeah..Er. Sorry.” I stutter, he walks over to me and hugs me while laughing,
“It’s okay, that’s the whole point I’m in this business, you should of seen your face!” He joked,
I smiled at him, and walked over to the fridge and sighed, still empty.
“Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuum! I want some food!” I shout up the stairs, “So er..What ya doin’ here?” I asked,
“Oh, did your mum not tell you? We’re going out…” he said,
“Oh okay, no she didn’t, that’s awesome, thank you Gee!” I hugged him, “oh er sorry…” I said pulling away,
“It’s alright” He smiled, “C’mon we should get going” he suggested,
“Um…okay? Where are we going?” I asked, walking out of the kitchen and through the living room and into the hallway, with Gerard following behind.
“I thought we could go to Belleville, where I grew up” I turned around and smiled,
“Meddy is gonna come and pick us up in about 10 minutes from Frank’s house” Gerard started slipping on his trainers,
“Mum, I’m leaving now, what time do you want me home?” I shouted upstairs,
“Just not too late okay?” she replied, as she came walking down the stairs, “see you later” She called as me and Gerard walked out the door, as we got to the end of the path I stopped,
“Back in a minute” and ran back into the house, into my room, and grabbed a brown envelope from under my bed and ran back downstairs and out the house, I ran to catch up with Gerard and handed him the envelope,
“What’s this?” He said as he started peeling it open,
“No! Don’t open it yet! I’d be way too embarrassed! It’s letters that I wrote for you and the band, I put them in an envelope so that when I go to another MCR concert I could try and give it to you, there’s about 10 letters in there…Sorry that they’re really long” I said, giving Gerard a very worried look on his face and then he smiled,
“oh. Okay then.” And he carried it, and let himself into Frank’s house and gestured me to follow, he put the envelope on top of his bag and then sat on the sofa, he smiled at me and I sat opposite him.
“Thank you Gerard,” I blushed,
“and thank you too Emily” he smiled at me.
