Insomnia

I dream awake.
Dancing girls, spirits and wines,
Money in a pitcher,
Glass donkeys eating cranberries,
On the head of a candlestick-man.

Mind spinning, fingers tip-tapping...
Meaningless words bursting forth onscreen.
Tap, tap, tap, tap...
Tick, tick, tick, tick,
Tock the clock.
