Ray Toro gets some unexpected attention from a girl ^.-
Andy was sitting on the lunch table with Ella & Sophie. She was trying to ignore they’re bitchyness but it was just so hard and Andy was so tempted to slap them both. Ella smirked at Andy “you want to come to my party on Saturday didn’t you?” Andy didn’t say a word but nodded anyway. Andy was what you could consider partially-popular. Everyone knew who she was but she wasn’t a whore or a bitch to get herself known. “Well want you to date-trip someone...” Andy sighed. She hated the “date-trip”-ing that Sophie and Ella did. What I meant was that they pretended to like a guy and go out with him. Only to use him and fuck with his mind. “We want you date-trip him” Andy looked where Ella was pointing.
She was pointing at an average height guy and with a massive ‘fro. Andy recognised him from her English clash. That Raymond Toro, he didn’t talk to people much but when he did he was sarcastically funny and it made Andy laugh. He occasionally talked to those to weird people Mikey Way & Amy Apocalypse and that weird new girl with the short red hair but mostly preferred to sit on his own.
Andy couldn’t do it. Raymond was obviously a sweet guy and she didn’t want to hurt him. On the other hand she didn’t want to get smacked down by Ella & Sophie. “Fine” she muttered nodding her head. Andy picked up her stuff and walked to Raymond’s table.
Ray looked up and saw a girl with medium-length sandy blonde hair staring down at him. “Hey” she said “I’m Andy-Marie, you’re Raymond right?” What the hell was up with this kid and why was she talking to me, how come she wasn’t slobbering after the rest of those jocks who followed Ella & Sophie around. “Call me Ray”. Shudder I hate the name Raymond. This girl Andy was still hovering there. Looking at me. “Yes??” “I was wondering if you could help me with my English homework” she was blushing, why the fuck was she blushing? “Yeah sit” I replied trying to sound calm.
She sat opposite and pulled out her lunch. I expected her to throw it at me but she didn’t. It was odd. “Did you read the book” she asked. I nodded. I had read it, twice in fact. What wasn’t there to get. Much obviously in her case. So I spent the whole of my lunch explaining it to her while she just sat there smiling and nodding at me. It was starting to creep me out.
The bell rung for the end of lunch and we both stood up and put away our work. I expected her to run off to join her friends but she just stood there. Staring at me. “We have English next don’t we” she asked and I nodded of course we did, she sat in the same row as me. Not that I spent the whole lesson watching her but she was the only one who didn’t through paper balls at me and tease me. One of the jocks walked past and laughed at us. “Come on Andy you don’t want to walk to English with that freak” he spat out laughing with his friends. “No thanks” she turned and grinned at me” I’d rather walk with Ray, if that’s okay with you?” she smiled and blushed again. I couldn’t refuse. “Sure” I replied scratching my back...
