  This first chapter is done very well. It'll be interesting to know what Spencer goes through.
  What you are feeling is this awful thing called 'Writers Block'. I get it sometimes, it's just wretched. It can take a long time to go away and is very annoying. I wish you best of luck on getting around it so you may write your other stories.
