Chapter One;
0 ReviewsEmily Hastings was slowly pacing down the sidewalk that led her to the little coffee shop she loved so much, when she got a call from her boyfriend, Jesse Ryan. She rolled her eyes and ignored his call for the fifteenth time that day. She had nothing to say to him. He ignored her for two weeks so now it was her turn to do the same.
She swung the door open and stepped inside, smelling the mouth watering smell of fresh baked cinnamon rolls and coffee. She ordered her usual, a cinnamon roll and a double chocolaty chip frappuccino, and sat down at the nearest table by the window. She usually spent all her time watching people.
She took a bite out of her cinnamon roll and looked out the window. A young woman and her toddler were throwing pennies into a fountain. Emily sighed and felt her eyes water as she began to remember 'that' day.
----Flashback----
It was a cold winter night in '97. Sutton Tyler just got done putting the last of her bags into the back of the yellow taxi cab. She turned and faced her ex husband, Felix Hastings, and her 3 year old toddler Emily. She bent down to get on eye level with Emily.
She ran her hands through Emily's long dirty blonde hair. "I'll be back to get you."
"Don't you dare fill my daughters head with your lies!" Felix roared. "We both know you won't be back. You didn't even spend any time with her. You were too busy whoreing around."
"I am a good mother. I can't believe you would say that."
"Yeah, you were such a good mother that you left Em in the backseat of the car when it was freezing cold, without a blanket while you were inside of a bar getting drunk!"
Felix picked up Emily when she started crying. "Shh, it's okay Em." He kissed her forhead and wipped the tears from her cheeks. "Look just go. We were fine without you before, we'll survive now."
Sutton got into the cab and rolled down the window. "I love you Emily." That was the last thing she said before the taxi pulled away from the side of the curb and drove off, soon dissapearing into the night.
----Flashback----
Emily sipped her coffee and finished off the last of her cinnamon roll. Meanwhile in Stratford, Canada; Justin Bieber layed on his bed, his whole body dripping with sweat. The random girl that he just slept with kissed his chest and smiled up at him. He didn't return the smile, instead he rudely dismissed her. She got out of his bed, grabbing her clothes, mumbling that he was an asshole as she left.
He went into his bathroom and got into the shower. When he got out, he wrapped a towel around his waist and grabbed his phone. One missed call from Ryan. Ryan Butler has been Justin's bestfriend since he was a little boy. They first met eachother playing soccer for a little league. Justin dialed his number.
"Hello?"
"Hey bro, you called?"
"Yeah. Okay so what do you think about going to Vegas this Friday?"
"Vegas? Why, what's going down there?"
"Girls. Smokin' hot chicks are going to be there for spring break. I really need to get laid, so I think it's a good idea."
"Alright man, I'm in."
Justin smiled to himself. Vegas is going to be a good time.
