Mikey took my hand in his and slowly went down to one knee. His eyes flickered as he looked up at me.
"Marissa Ann Sorrentino, love of my life, will you do me the unbelievable pleasure... of being my wife?" Mikey asked as he took a ring from his pocket. It was an older looking ring. It had beautiful intricate filigree with a good sized opal in the middle.
"It's stunning." I said as Mikey delicately took my ring off and slipped the new one on.
"You like it?" Mikey asked with excitement.
"I thought you would, I hoped you would. It's original, just like you. I designed it with you in mind." Mikey smiled looking up at me. Suddenly Frank barged in panting and sweating.
"What is this?" Asked cocking one leg out to the side.
"Mikey was proposing to Marissa because she told him that she was pregnant." Ray smiled.
"No you told him, you told all of them, I was going to tell them gently and not just shout it." Ray smiled shyly and blushed.
"What? Proposing, pregnant, really?" Frank asked with a whiny tone.
"Aren't you happy for them?" Gerard asked.
"Ecstatic.' Frank said sarcastically. I continued to look down at my blonde boy.
"You never really answered me you know?" Mikey said as his eyes began to water.
"What would make you think I'd say no?" I said as I kneeled in front of him. A smile appeared on his face as he pulled me into a hug. I smiled even though I knew no one could see. Ray and Gerard were smiling idiotically while Frank stood with his arms crossed tapping his foot impatiently.
"Is that a yes?" Mikey asked pulling away from the hug to see my face. Tears of joy stained his face.
"Yes... yes... yes." I shouted between smothering him with kisses. He giggled at my reaction.
"Good, great. I love you." Mikey said pushing me the rest of the way to the floor, he pushed his body on top of mine and started kissing me passionately. I could hear Ray and Gerard giggling in the background. Frank scoffed and opened the door.
"I need a smoke." He said as he opened and slammed the door behind him. Gerard rolled his eyes and made a 'tsk tsk' noise.
"What's wrong with him?" Mikey asked lifting his head.
"Well Frank has a wittle crush on Marissa and he's jealous. But you lying on top of her doesn't make him feel any better." Gerard said rolling his eyes.
"Are you the only one who didn't see it?" Ray asked furrowing his eyebrows.
"I guess so, maybe that's why I have been having those thoughts." Mikey said as he turned his head back to look at me.
"What bad thoughts?" I asked looking into his eyes, only to have him look away.
"I kept having dreams... that you would leave me... for Frank." Mikey said looking at me shyly. My eyes got wide and I looked to Ray. He looked scared for me. I returned my look then to Mikey.
"Never." I said putting my hands on the back of his neck and pulling him into a gentle kiss.
"Okay." Mikey said pushing our lips together again.
"So when do you want to get married?" Gerard asked as he sat on the couch and crossed his legs.
"Soon, and on a full moon at night. What about you Mikey?" I asked looking directly at him. It was hard to look at anything else because he was lying on top of me still.
"Whatever you want. I like that idea though, we could have it outside too." Mikey suggested.
"If it's cold I'll just where long sleeves." I smiled kissing his lips lightly.
"Oh and you might want to get off her before Frank comes back in." Gerard suggested as he pursed his lips together.
"Oh yeah." Mikey removed his body ad instantly I felt a cold breeze. I would never be able to live without that.
