Jackie is really attracted to the new kid
We find ourselves on a nice, sunny day on April 1, 1975. The bell just rang to go to lunch, and me, Debbie, and Susie are making our way to the cafeteria. Along with the other 200 10th grade students that go to this shitty, Seattle school.
"Hey, you guys wanna go see a movie later tonight?" Suzie asked us.
"Sure! Why the fuck would we not want to?" answered Debbie, with a smartass grin on her face.
"Ok I was just askin'!" laughed Suzie. "What do you think Jackie? You wanna come too? How about the midnight viewing of that new movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"?"
"Suze, don't you think it's kinda dumb to go see a move at midnight on a Thursday? We've got school tommorow ya know!" I shot back.
"Oh come on Jackie! Don't be such a barbie bitch and come with us!" said Debbie.
"All right Deb I'll come, but if I fail that test in Chemistry tomorrow because I didn't get enough sleep, I'm blaming you guys!"
"Oh I knew I'd convince you! And don't worry. You won't fail that stupid test!" said Debbie.
I rolled my eyes and we all started laughing.
Once we had gotton our trays and sat down at the table we always sit at at lunch, I noticed a kid I hadn't seen before sitting at the corner table, on the row of tables next to us.
He actually looked quite handsome by the way I was looking at him.
"Hey, who's that guy over there?" I asked the girls, nodding my head towards the boy.
"Oh some kid named Frank Ferranna." answered Susie. "He's new. I have math with him. He's not really that bad. Just quiet.... and weird.
But he didn't look weird at all to me. He had the most beautiful black hair. And his bangs were in his face so I couldn't see his eyes. But he was semi-thin, perfect weight. And the muscles in his arms were toned and built. I kept looking at him until finally he turned his head slightly and looked at me. I blushed and turned away. I had to go introduce myself so I could get to know him. It was now or never.
"Well, I'm goin' to go meet him." I said to the girls. They nodded their heads, continuing in eating their food, and I got up and headed towards his table. I walked up to him, trying to swallow the nervous feeling in my gut. Maybe it was love? I walked up to where I was now standing right in front of him.
