(#) Ashley 2005-06-04 02:36:17 AMWhoa...this is shaping up into quite a tale. Well, I officially hate Dumbledore. Saddest part? I could see this working in canon, though I know it isn't going to be written that way. Anyways, taking a short break, then back to this addicting little drama you've cooked up. My complements to the Chef...Byez!! (R.I.P. Winky the House Elf She will be missed.)
(#) keronshara 2005-06-04 11:12:34 PMI really like this story. I am so glad that you update regularly, since I am not a patient person.
Glad you addressed me question about Fawkes & Dumbledore in this chapter. Of course this now leaves me with at least five more in its place. The phoenix in the chamber could have been one that just showed up to help Harry, although that still doesn't answer the questions of where the phoenix came from and why it showed up to help Harry? Plus that phoenix leads Harry to Dumbledore and rests on his shoulder. Which returns us to the question of how can a phoenix be with someone who is evil? A similiar event happened right after the tournament, when Harry is in Dumbledore's office to tell him of Voldemort's rebirth. "Fawkes" flew down from his perch and healed the wound on Harry's leg from the Acromantula. I was glad that Dobby asked the question also.
I am curious how you will address this, or if Harry and Sirius were not quite in a state to notice where the phoenix came from. Which could also bring up the point that Harry could have lost sight of the phoenix from the chamber for a moment inwhich Dumbledore could have transported his "phoenix" to his shoulder. Now you have got me thinking of the different possiblities and ways Dumbledore could have kept up the illusion, while trying to stay with the facts and your version of Dumbledore.
