The moon is like a cat eye
Reflected in the stomach
Of your pale and padded arms
A silent lullaby
Full of ludicrous yarn
Drop dead, drop off, drop by
The ray of light that's spilling
From the corner of your mouth
Like the breath of a dusty book
Soothes the worms inside
Hurling, burning hearts
Break their bones in time
To search for lost possessions
Is as useless of a task
As is it to drown your shadow
For everything you had
Duct-taped to your skin
Slowly drives you mad
