Reviewing this chapter before moving on --
You have already had a reference to a movie which I had to look up, and inserted a whole chess game. I'd love to know if there is anything special about the game, but I wouldn't know just by following it on a board. Also I had to look up "skerrick" earlier, which the dictionary thinks is Australian, but is such a good word I'll forgive that if it's true.
Anyway, I appreciate the detail in this story.
I also appreciate that it's a really good story, which is why I am up at 5 AM still reading it, trying not to think about the fact that there aren't an infinite number of chapters awaiting me.Author's response

Firstly, there are 24 chapters completed on fanfiction.net, and I'm about 3,800 words into chapter 25.
If it was easier to post chapters on this site, I'd have them all here as well, but it's 10 mins of frustration for every chapter posted on this site. I need to really be bored to fight with the editor.
Scondly.. if you want to know about the chess game, google the name of the chapter. ;)
Skerrick is a UK phrase.. and Australian.. Just depends which dictionary you look in first. :)
