For the pirates: why did you chose to be one and do you enjoy it? i choose to be one for the adrenaline and it's really fun

Why did you choose to become one, and do you enjoy it? I love my pirate life. My family treated me like shit for multiple reasons. Mainly, because I was gay. That led me to becoming a graffiti artist, an arson, and it got me caught in a gang. I still do my fair share (okay, more than my fair share) of graffiti, and arsonry. But now I dint feel the constant urge to kill kill myself. :) Or hurt myself any further.
Do you have a pet? Yes. A black snake named Witchbaby. I don't believe on cages, so she's almost always slithering over me in some way shape or form. Usually my neck.
