FicWad: fresh-picked original and fan fiction

Okay, so I'm not the best at writing and being able to capture my readers' imaginations. I'm more of a persuasive journalism kind of girl. Ask me to write a 2000 word essay on the pros and cons of teen marriage, and you've got a story. Ask me to write dialogue and plot twists with characters who stem from real life, and I have a bit of trouble.

Now, I doubt any of you will be willing, but hear me out.
If you are interested in collaborating with me, I want you to rewrite the first three chapters of my fanfic, Haus of the Rising Sun. I give you full permission to rip this story to shit, as long as you use my storyline and characters. The link: http://www.ficwad.com/story/184175

I also ask that you comment, saying you're up to the challenge so that I know whether or not to bother checking my e-mail for drafts. Once I've received the entries, I'll read them, decide which writer I find to be the most satisfactory.

I do require that you keep the opening sentence of the first chapter.
