  I was just thinking about this last night, and doesn't Frank take French as a second language? Didn't he randomly think 'C'est vrai!' in one chapter? Or does be just have temperamental French skills?

  You're right, he does. But then again so do I and whenever some random french person starts talking to me in their language I can never think of anything other to say than "oui". :/
