  This is absolutely excellent. I think it gives a really good insight to how much Gerard cares for Mikey and how much Mikey is a part of him and that leaving him with some guy he barley knows is really hard for him. The way he beats himself up about leaving him with Pete just shows how much work Gerard does to protect Mikey. I also love how Patrick is the guy that knows everything. How he knows Mikey is fine with Pete and that Pete is crazy for Mikey. Also, I would love to see how Gertrick would work out, it's a pairing I have never seen but would be cute together. Please update soon. I really enjoy reading it!!! :)

  Gerard definitely cares a hell of a lot for Mikey, hence it being so hard for him to leave Mikey alone with someone he doesn't really know. 'Trick is kinda the man in the know; he observes everything and is probably too smart for his own good in this.

  Okay. Now the rest of the story: So sadorable! I just wanted to hug Mikey when Gerard was talking about his nightmares. And punch his dad, but that's beside the point. I'm curious to know what Patrick meant when he told Gerard that Pete had it as bad as Mikey. Perhaps a little more insight into that in the next chapter? REALLY great chapter and I hope you update soon!

  Thanks! I wanted to punch his dad too, which is kinda weird because I'm the one who wrote him like that. When Patrick said that, he was referring to having a crush, sorry if that was confusing.

  Gerard needs to understand that while Mikey may be wounded (mentally and physically) and incomplete. He's not 12 and he can be with or be friends with whomever he wants. Amazing chapter. Update as soon as you can. Gertrick does sound kinda interesting... But I don't know how my heart will take it if something happens that hurts Mikey.

  You're absolutely right; Mikey may be hurt, but he's not a little kid any more and he's more than capable of deciding the sort of people he wants to be around.
