FicWad: fresh-picked original and fan fiction

So a load of people have been putting songs and stuff up on this site and I thought wahey, I write songs and I can't tell if they're shit or not. And I trust you guys (ish) to tell me honestly so...yeah. I wrote this in a French lesson (pretty fucken bored) and it's inspired by a beautiful peice by Lindsey entitled To Heaven I Will Go Unless You Can Stop Me. (I would have called it that but it just looked stupid on a computer screen.)

Mark the winds and set the sails
When the sky glows with the pink of dawn
I'll leave this world to the dogs and tails

And queue the heavy drumming, crazy guitar and a rather long instrumental. Yeah, I have no clue for a melody or chords or anything like that. Suggestions are welcome and if I ever manage to think for myself I'll record it or something and link it to this.
