I don't own Naruto.



There were no words between them. They communicated with glaces and body language- a tilt of a hand towards the rice bowl asked, a small nod of thanks when it was handed to him- but they never opened their mouths.

They knew if they did, everything would just repeat itself. Past insults would fly, nevermind that they were both too old for such childish words.

Things were at an impasse. Naruto would not forgive Sasuke, and Sasuke would never ask for forgiveness out loud.

But a persons eyes can say a lot of things. They would never speak the words, but in Sasuke's eyes you could see him asking, and in Naruto's eyes you could see him forgiving.
