I'm trapped. Caught in my own grotesque world. And phantasmagoria swims behind my eyelids

1Insightful
Opaque lies and crimson skies
Taint my mind with deadly dreams
With images of macabre beauty
And my condolence with reality
Is lost.

I'm broken away
From the weak bonds holding me down,
My frenzied mind is caught in a storm
Of beautiful imaginings
And toxic self destruction.

I'm whisked away
Dreaming of pain
Which I can inflict
To escape this hell
To relieve myself of the blissful ignorance
Plastered on each painted face around me.

I'm trapped,
Caught in my own grotesque world
And phantasmagoria swims behind my eyelids,
Beckoning me in venomously
With black-lipped seduction
To my destructive insanity.

I reel myself in,
My heart jumping to my throat
As I revel dangerously
In this fantastical trance.

I bring the cold flashing silver
To my white striped skin,
Staining it once more
With fascinatingly lethal poison...

As it trickles out tauntingly
And as my mind deadens softly,
I feel that blissful ignorance
Crawl across my skin.

And I close myself up once more,
Macabre stitches marring my soul.
I reconcile with reality,
And try to forget this blood soaked path
I have chosen for myself.
