It doesn't sound as true
When you still wear her scent."

To describe Gerard Way as happy at the moment would be an understatement. He wasn't just happy, he was ecstatic. He'd just left the newest bar in town, and it was at this bar that he met an incredibly hot chick who gave him an incredibly amazing time, if you know what he meant.
Gerard struggles to remember the goddess' name in his drunken state. What was it? Lindsey! That was it. She was absolutely gorgeous, with a tall, slim physique and shiny black hair. Her skin was pale and her lips were as red as a ruby. As soon as Gerard saw her he felt like he got hit by a bus.
As he wandered down the street to his house, his head started to clear from his drunken stupor and he remembered that he had a boyfriend. A boyfriend who he lived with. A boyfriend who he lived with that he'd cheated on tonight. Gerard had a sinking feeling in his gut as he put his key in the lock on the front door. He couldn't handle the thought of seeing the beautiful hazel eyes of his lover fill with hurt and betrayal and shine with tears. He couldn't handle seeing his small shoulders quake with the heart wrenching sobs that wracked his body when Gerard told him what happened.
What Gerard didn't expect, however, was his lover to be sitting calmly on the black leather love seat in their living room, legs crossed and arms folded. "A little late coming home, aren't we?" He questioned, hard gaze locking with Gerard's guilty one.
"Er yeah, about that..." Gerard started, not knowing how to explain to his boyfriend how he'd cheated on him.
"Something you want to tell me, Gerard?" He uncrossed his legs and stood up, crossing the room to stand in front of Gerard.
"Frankie," he addressed the man in front of him, "I don't know how to put this but-"
"You had sex with her, didn't you?"
"How-"
"I was there Gerard. You were gone for a long time so I went to the bar and saw everything. I saw how you'd react when she'd kiss you. Your face would light up like a Christmas tree. You never do that with me, Gerard. And then you two went back to her apartment. I don't even have to ask what you did there, I can smell it on you. Her scent is all over you." Frank sneered, circling Gerard like a vulture would with it's prey.
"Frankie, I'm sorry! Please believe me!" Gerard pleaded with his lover. He loved Frank more than anyone in the world, and to see him walk out on him would break his heart.
"Oh no you're not," Frank stopped behind Gerard and leaned up to whisper into his ear, "but you will be."
"Frank wha-" Gerard couldn't finish for Frank had shoved him with all his might down onto the dark wood floor.
"I'm gonna make you pay for all the pain you put me through," Frank growled from above Gerard. Frank rolled Gerard over, his cherry red hair fanning out around him. "I'm gonna make you pay for breaking my heart. I trusted you Gee!"
Gerard tried to voice his desperate apology again but was cut off by Frank delivering three swift kicks to his ribs. Gerard gasped and sputtered, the breath being knocked right out of him. He tried to regain his bearings when Frank grabbed him by the hair and slammed him into the nearest wall. "I give you every ounce of my love and you go prancing around with women. You're such a whore, Gerard." Frank spat in Gerard's face, causing the red head to flinch and bang his head off the wall.
"You're disgusting," Frank seethed. "You deserve everything you're gonna get."
Frank threw Gerard down on the hardwood floor again. He sat down on Gerard's hips, straddling him. Frank reached into the pocket of his black skinny jeans, pulling out a pocket knife. Gerard's hazel eyes widened at the gleam of the blade and he began to plead with his lover.
"Please, Frankie! Please don't do it! I love you! I promise it didn't mean anything with her!" Gerard began to cry, the hot salty tears pouring from his eyes in bucketfuls.
Frank ripped off Gerard's black t-shirt and threw it to the side. He brought the tip of the knife down on to Gerard's chest.
"Frankie, ple-"
"SHUT UP!" Frank bellowed. "I AM SICK OF YOUR FUCKING SHIT GERARD. YOU NEVER LOVED ME. EVERYTHING YOU'VE SAID SINCE DAY ONE HAS BEEN A LIE. NOW PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF /FUCK/, SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
Something inside Gerard broke at those harsh words and he stopped crying, stopped struggling.
Frank began carving into Gerard's chest the word "S-I-N-N-E-R" in jagged letters. Gerard screamed and screamed, surprised the neighbors didn't hear him. Finally, Frank finished his little "message" and brought out a pistol from his back pocket.
"They always said that sinners never sleep," Frank said in a monotone, his voice void of all emotion. He pointed the gun at Gerard's panting figure and pulled the trigger, lodging a bullet in Gerard's skull.
Gerard's eyes, once sparkling and bubbling with life, were now filmed over and dead. The hazel that seemed to swirl had ceased all movement.
The house became as quiet as a graveyard as Frank turned the gun on his own temple with a sick grin.
"We'll just have to see about that."
He pulled the trigger and let death overcome him, all his worries melting away.
Sinners could sleep after all.
