Footprints
0 ReviewsA sad poem about family in a way. Just growing up and leaving everything behind.
Im just starting out so I do nor expect much from this poem. It is something that I came up with quickly. Like I said I do not expect much of anything I just hope that some people take the time to read this.

Footprints
Footprints in ink,
Marking a new arrival.
Footprints in sand,
Dancing along the shore.
Footprints in mud,
Leading from puddle to puddle.
Footprints in snow,
Walking away from home.
Footprints by a grave,
Leaving what has passed.
Footprints in the sky,
Marking heaven above.
Footprints fade away,
And so do the memories.
