You broke your promise
Lied to my face
Left me in tears
Just walked away
You have no shame
Have no remorse
Let my heart break
You've run your course
We once stood by each other
Hand in hand
Side by side
I trusted you
But you let me die
Build a home of sand
It'll only wash away
Should've saw it sooner
But instead I learned the hard way
I've done all I can to make you see
But you're fine where you are now
Happy to be free
Even if that means forgetting me
You are the voice of treason
An honorable discharge
Gone from my life with a reason
Now all I have left is my scars
