Siri knew all too well what she was getting herself into. With an ex like his, she knew she should keep away to avoid heartache. She was an irresistible love machine who had single handily taken down the school rugby team, purely by flirting with them and what was Siri? The school neek with a devout bunch of friends... but even they did the dirty on her. He was the apple of her eye, and by him I mean Frank. Frank Iero. He wasn’t the romanticist of boy’s; he only tended to kiss her in the back row of the cinema... But she liked his aura, his touch, when his lips collided with hers, nothing else mattered. She never thought she would find someone that could better him.

Other than studying, her life revolved around her band. Well not really her band, but it was the only place she felt safe, where she could be herself and express all her emotions through music... And she was only ever in this band because of Frank. Frank had started it all. The setting of the sun signified the end of Monday, but the start of a long evening for band practice. His electric blue guitar glimmered in the lonely, un-shaded light bulb that dangled precariously off the ceiling, occasionally shaking as someone walked on the floor above. Frank ran for the amplifier and punched it, his knuckles clicking from the impact. The amplifier squeaked once more and then silenced into the natural sounds. As he returned back to his natural position, he caught my eye and smiled the smile that I had initially fallen in love with and I responded with a cheeky wink and a giggle.

Our suddenly intimate moment when disturbed by the muffled thumping of feet walking down the stairs towards us.
