Shit. I've just been an utter dick to my own sister. I just can't believe it. She's with Bryar?! He fucking abused her last time, she told us she was being followed and abused! But no it was just Bob getting angry with her, he turned up to band practice as if nothing happened. To think none of us knew. Gerard was the only one who found out and that was when he kissed her behind Bryar's back. Everything was so peaceful until Bob lashed out at them both. Gee and Maria lying in their hospital beds. Hand in hand. Gerard is the only guy I trusted my little sis with.
"Frank" I turned to see Gerard siting, his eyes red and puffy, his lips trembling.
"Shit Gee. What the fuck happened to you?" It wasn't Gerards fault for what my sis did, was it? Maybe I have gave him a hard time lately.
"S-She doesn't want to see me anymore" I had to tell him that she'd found someone else. He's my bestfriend I didn't want to do it straight away, but with things like this I can't afford not to tell him.
"Gee, she's with Bryar" He acted the same way as me. I wasn't surprised. His fists clenched, face red as fire. Revenge and anger in his eyes.
"BRYAR?! DID WHAT ME AND HER HAVE MEAN NOTHING! I SAID I'D WAIT FOR HER!" For someone who supposedly loved my sister he wasn't good at showing it.
"THAT'S MY SISTER YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! YOU DIDN'T FUCKING WAIT FOR HER! SHE WAS SCARED SO SHE WENT TO BRYAR! MOVE ON OR AT LEAST PRETEND TO DIE. AGAIN!"
I'd never had a fight with Gee before. He was like a brother to me, but it always has been family before friends. Maria has always been the best thing in my life, I love her so much. I'd even risk friends for her. Which pretty much happens all the time. I knew she needed someone there but she hated me and Gee at the minute. The two guys who loved her most, except Mikey. He has a little obsession with my sister, little is an understatement. He has a collage of her in his room and his bunk on the tour bus. We've all seen his little book full of love notes he didn't send to Maria and his photos of her. It's a little creepy but it's Mikey, he's always been a little creepy. Like his brother.
I got out my cell and dialled Mikeys number.
"Hey Frank, how's Maria? Tell her I'm thinking of her."
"Good evening Michael James Way, would you care to join me on a venture to this fine establishment?"
"The hospital?"
"Way to break the mood Mikes!" I heard the unusual sound of Mikeys laugh, "Is that laughter I hear Mr Way?"
"Dude what do you want?" I sighed, I knew I had to say something to him.
"I know what happened with you and Maria, she's in the hospital. She needs you Mikes, she doesn't want to see me or Gee."
"Wait. What? She doesn't want to see Gee?" I could tell there was slight excitement in his voice. I knew him and Maria had always been close, they became best friends when we moved to Belleville High School. She bumped into Gerard and Mikey by accident, they were the only people who would talk or even look at us. We were known as the 'emos', I don't see why people are labelled. It's stupid really.
"Yes Mikey. Your sexy brother is not wanted."
"Eww dude, shut up man!" He always hated it when I spoke about his brother like that, it was funny to annoy him. He was like superman and this was his Kryptonite. Superman is such a gay superhero. I think I'd be a gay superhero, I don't know why.
"You need to talk to her. Please, for me?"
"Sure dude whatever. Just as long as I can see her" I smiled appeared on my face as I got into my car.
"Thanks, this means a lot. I've just left her now so go as soon as possible please"
"Ok Frank thanks"
"For what?"
"For not getting angry. I'd say I made a mistake but Maria is definitely not a mistake"
This was a mess. It's not the first time Maria has been stuck in a love triangle. I know it won't be the last.
