Convoluted dreams
written on my arms
in black ink.
Seeping into my veins,
stopping my heart
with its pleasant poison.

The toxins bring only relief,
the poison grants some form of release.
The only light I've seen was shining through your eyes
and now even that's dimmed.
All I want is to be ok again.

But who said I was ok in the first place?
"Not I" said the fox.
Who's the fox in this picture?
Because the only one I see is you.

A shot of cyanide,
a sip of bleach,
throw some arsenic in the mix,
now we've got a party.

A party of one
or a party of none?
Because I'm not sure how much more I can take.
I can't handle you and your poison called love.

But I love the pain you bring me
I guess I'm the epitome of masochism.
And how else could I act
when your facade brings me happiness.

A happiness I can't ignore
but a happiness I can't stand.
Ultimately it's killing me
but it's not like you would ever care.

I'm not sure I actually like this so I'll probably edit it later.
