I walk into my house I threw my bag down on my bed
My room was a wreck beer bottles and dirty clothes scatter the floor
The phone rings I pick the reveicer up and put it to my ear
"Hello?" I said a slight anger slips into my voice I really wish it hadn't
"William you know better then to talk to me in that tone! " my step father warns
"I'm sorry sir"I said my voice frozen in fear
"DON'T SAY SORRY TO ME BOY YOU SHOW YOUR FATHER THE RESPECT I DESERVE WILLIAM!!
YOUR ARE WORTHLESS" my drunk step-fathers voice howeled
"Sir I -" I began to say he laughs I hear a click and dail tone
then the phone rings again I shakly pick up the reveicer to a shy friendly voice
"Hey axl It's saul can I come over?" he asked poitley
"Sure man" I said I hoped I didn't sound like Ive been crying
"Sweet see you there" he said then the phone clicks
I clean my room up a little
Then the doorbell rang I open the door
"Hey axl" he said pulling him into a hug his arms wrap around him holding me I felt safe
I wished he wouldn't let go
He lets me go "so how are you axe?" he asked before sitting on the couch I sat on the other side
"I'm okay" I lied smoothly he brushed his curly balck hair back
"Are you ok?" I asked worried he laughs quietly egough I could hear him
"I'm fine axl really" he said then sat down by me he looks at me worried
"I just..never mind" I said as a tear falls slightly down my cheek I look away
And let my head fall in my hands shaking sobbing loudly
"I-...I-"I cried knowing he would laugh in face I brushed his arm away then cried harder
"Axl..." he said softly then takes me in his arms I burried my head in his chest
"Shh shh" he whispers in my hair he rubs my arms gently, soothingly little gasps escape my throut as I tried find my voice
I look up at him sniffling
He holds me safely in his arms rubing my back
then I remembered my fathers words
I felt my body rocking back and forth
"Calm down shh axl it's alright" he said softly still rubbing my back as I started crying again "sh sh" he said
I sat up breaking myslef from his arms sniffeling "I'm worthless" I said
"no your not who called you worthless" saul said
"yes I am saul don't lie to me! and.and... " I rised my voice then collsped in tears
"my father called told me I was worthless and It is true" I sobbed
"axl you are not worthless your my best friend and a talented singer"
I sniffled then layed in his lap
"I'm sorry" I said getting up then running a hand through my hair
"For?" he asked
"Acting like a priss then laying in your lap"I said and waited for him to yell at me
"I don't mind you in my lap and you didn't act like a priss and don't say sorry man" he said holding me
" I wouldve killed my self if you hadn't called" I said in whisper
"it's alright it wouldve killed me if you had" he said pulling me into a hug
