"Ludwig... Ludwig, are you here?" Feliciano called out happily.

"Yes, yes, I'm here!" Ludwig replied in a tired sigh. He could hear Feliciano's high pitched singing and the odd giggle, making him smile a little.

Feliciano walked around the house to see Ludwig on the back porch with a beer in hand.

"Hello Ludwig, how are you?" He greeted in his usual, cheerful manner.

"I'm fine, thank you..." Ludwig sighed, looking off into the distance with a blank expression on his face. "And how might you be?" He looked back over at Feliciano, forcing a little smile. There was no way he'd be the one to take the smile off Feliciano's face just because he was a little stressed, it was almost cruel.

"I'm fine Ludwig!' Feliciano looked at him, noticing something unusual about Ludwig's smile. It was different... "Ludwig? Are you okay?" He held his hands behind his back and cocked his head to the side 'Did I do something wrong?'

"No, Feliciano... it's not you. I'm just having a bad day, that's all..."

"Aw... Wanna talk about it Luddy?", He walks closer, a hopeful smile gracing his features. "I'm here if you wanna talk about it, I'm a master at listening!" He smiled wider.

Luddy. He loved it when Feliciano called him that. He noticed himself smiling, and Feliciano noticed it too.

"It's okay, I'll be fine." he said, gazing into Feliciano's chocolate brown eyes. "Just being around you has made it all better..."

"Okay!" he giggled, his voice becoming very sing-songy. "So what have you been doing out here?" Feliciano turned to face the setting sun. It made the land glow a brilliant orange. "It sure is nice outside, isn't it Luddy?" His grin became broader.

"I haven't been doing much, just winding down after a long day, really."

He gazed at the orange sky above him. It was quite breathtaking. "Yes, it is quite nice," he agreed, turning to face Feliciano. He studied him in awe just as he did with the sky. "It's beautiful..."

Feliciano stared up into the clouds, sighing a little. "Hmm. It's so.. gorgeous." He paused. "I love it." He noticed Ludwig studying him, "Ludwig?", Feli turned to him, "You sure you're alright?"

Ludwig blushed a little, his eyes falling to the floor and then back up to Feliciano's face, taking in every detail once again before carrying on.

"Yes, Feliciano, I'm sure. I just-... I wanted to tell you... I'm..."

He couldn't say it. All those sleepless nights, rehearsing what to say to Feliciano, all the times he told himself he could do it, all his courage, it had vanished. He couldn't form the words. He didn't want to admit it, but he was terrified.

Feliciano walked a little closer, "You...? Ludwig, You can tell me. It's not like I'm going to be mad..." He was hoping he would speak those words to him. He was afraid that he was getting his hopes up. "Ludwig..?" He reached for his hand.

Ludwig's heart pounded in his chest. A spark ignited inside of him at the very feeling of Feliciano's hand on his own. The little voice inside his head was screaming with joy, even though Ludwig kept silent. He leaned closer to him. He couldn't believe it. This was it.

"I love you, Feliciano..."

He gasped. Feliciano was nearly crying, "Ludwig...Ti amo troppo!" He wrapped his arms around the German's torso and held on. "I love you.." He whispered. A couple of warm tears rolled down his cheeks. He had never felt so good in his life.

Ludwig almost cried out with joy, it was unbelievable. Feliciano loved him. It was almost too much.

He had one more thing to do, and he knew he could do it with complete confidence thanks to today's incredible turn of events. He pulled away gently, meeting Feliciano's eyes once more as he lifted his chin up slightly. He reached out and wiped the tears from Feli's beautiful face. Bending down a tiny bit to meet Feliciano's height, he pressed their lips together softly.

Feliciano was stunned at first. He stayed still and leaned into the kiss, placing his arms around his neck. Feliciano was happy. He had loved him for so long. After about a minute of the passionate kiss, Feli pulled away, blushing deeply.
"I don't want this moment to end. I just want to stay like this..." He sighed, feeling content as the older male held him close.

Their fingers intertwined and Ludwig smiled. It was perfect. Everything was perfect. It was still a huge shock that Feliciano loved him. He simply could not believe it. But he had to, because Feliciano was there, right in front of him, holding his hand and feeling exactly the same way he was.

"I don't want it to end either. If I could stay like this forever then believe me, I would, Feli." he said, running a hand through Feliciano's hair. "I love you."
