This is a song I wrote on my bass wich I am planning to, possibly, make part of one of my stories.
its subject is loss and it was originally titled HOPE because it makes me feel hopeful, now it is called Goodnight and I feel it fits the songs storyline better, enjoy? :)
I'm falling, oh so sweetly,
gliding down into the fog
and as I'm swallowed whole
my lips form your name
Why did you go
is there any way you could have stayed?
down sterile halls
and white wash skies
I cry for you.
when breathing is painful,
full of swallowed razor blades,
with skin torn to shreds
and a shortness of breath.
I need to finish what I've started, get the guilt out of my chest,
get rid of the pain in my head and try to live again.

the beautiful destruction,
splattered on the pavement,
of a life now ended
