  Wow. This might be the only fic I've ever read that actually took this, eminently reasonable, view. If you've ever heard of Pomme de Sang, we'd love to have you.

  Interesting. I've never read Anita Blake, but this is an excellent take on the oversexed vampire/vampire hunter story. It stands on its own while still making a parody-like point.
  
  "werehorses" Unless this universe has people who can shapeshift into horses (for all I know, it does), I think you need a space.
