  I have an idea..but I want your consent, since it was inspired from your idea and I didn't want to make it seem like I was stealing. Here it is:
  Gerard (I might change the band member.) draws cartoons for a newspaper. He meets and falls in love with an aspiring, African American(or maybe a different race) journalist. They develop a relationship,and hide it from others to avoid conflict with the KKK. I'm still kind of debating on the time period, but I love history, ESPECIALLY stuff like the Roaring 20's. Do I have your consent?
