Chapter 2

I managed to stay relatively calm while Dan drove me back to the flat, but I couldn't stop smiling. It felt silly at first, kissing Phil, but he was so amazing and I just couldn't take my eyes off of him. I had over heard his conversation with Dan about liking me. Dan saying that he would kill him if he went out with me. Now that was worrying. Dan said goodbye to me and waited for me get through the front door of the building before driving away. I got the lift up to our floor and walked into the apartment I shared with Danni and Devon, who were watching TV on the couch.
"Thank God you're back" Danni sighed. "Devon has barely spoke a word all night, she's been texting Stefan the whole time." I looked over to see Devon staring intently at her phone, a small smile on her face.
"Yeah, like you don't do the same with PJ all the time." I laughed as Danni blushed
"So how did Dan react to you leaving?" She asked.
I collapsed onto the couch. "Not too well at first, but knowing him he won't force me to go back. He cares too much about me." I said, while picking up a cushion to throw at Devons head.
"Hey!" she glared at me.
"You want to stop texting Stefan for just a minute?" I teased.
Reluctantly putting her phone down she said. "How come you were out for so long?"
"Dan and Phil let me stay for a pizza and some video games." Danni and Devon exchanged a glance.
"You met Phil did you?" Danni grinned.
"Uh yes?" I said. "Why?"
"Well" Devon was trying not to laugh. "We know that you're a big fan of his videos, practically in love with the guy."
I bit my lip to stop myself from giggling. "Can you imagine Dans reaction to me going out with his best friend? I even over heard him telling Phil to stay away from me"
They both looked at me in shock. "So Phil likes you then?" Danni asked.
"Well I think he does" I paused for a moment debating whether to tell them about the kiss. "Anyway I'm exhausted, I'm going to bed."
I said goodnight to them both and headed for the spare room. I got changed into a pair of pyjama shorts and my baggy Young Gun t-shirt. The double bed in the spare room was definitely an improvement on my tiny single one at home. I slid under the bed and thought about Phil. What was going to happen next with us. If he liked me back or just though I was a stupid little girl. What Dan would think if we did end up together. No doubt he would have something to say about it. I fell asleep with these thoughts still going through my head.

The next morning I had the apartment to myself as Danni and Devon had work to go to. After a quick shower, I made myself a bacon sandwich and sat myself in front of the tv, flicking through the channels. Then suddenly my phone started to ring and I set my sandwich on the coffee table, grabbing my phone quickly.
"Hello?" I prayed it was him.
"Hey Cassie, its Phil" his voice was so amazing I found I couldn't stop smiling. "Um about what happened last night, I was wondering if you would want to meet me sometime so we can talk about it?"
"Sure, yeah I would love too." Didn't sound eager at all, I mentally kicked myself. "Um Devon and Danni are at work right now so you can come over if you like?"
"Yeah, um I'm kind of outside your building right now." He paused slightly. "Really hope I don't sound too creepy"
I giggled. "No its sweet. Just come up and I'll let you in."
We hung up and I waited for him to get to the door. As soon as I heard him knocking I rushed to the door. I swung it open and he stood there, smiling at me. His piercing blue eyes were locked onto mine.
"Hi. Um come in?" I let him past and then closed the door. "Look about last night, I completely understand if you think it was stupid and-" my sentence was cut short by Phil locking his mouth onto mine.
"Thank God you're back" Danni sighed. "Devon has barely spoke a word all night, she's been texting Stefan the whole time." I looked over to see Devon staring intently at her phone, a small smile on her face.
"Yeah, like you don't do the same with PJ all the time." I laughed as Danni blushed
"So how did Dan react to you leaving?" She asked.
