A for Apple
Gerard lay on his back underneath an old apple tree. It wasn't a very large apple tree per say, but it was pretty big compared to Gerard.
It was a rare sunny day, and Gerard grabbed the opportunity to be outside without getting frostbite with both his clammy little hands.
He felt the sharp blades of grass tickle his bare arms as he relaxed in the slight shade that the apple tree was giving.
He was almost peacefully asleep when a high pitched squeal reached his ears. he barely had enough time to sit up when a little ball of hyper energy, also known as Frankie, landed on him.
Gerard made an 'oomf' noise, but Frank didn't seem to notice.
"Heeeeeeeey Gee!" He giggled, rolling off him and continued to roll around on the grass.
"Hi Frankie." He said, smiling a little as Frank rolled back towards him, a huge grin on his slightly pink face.
Frankie looked like he was going to say something but suddenly his concentration was stolen by something in the sky. Well not maybe the sky, but the huge, red gleaming apple on the end of a branch was quite a lot closer to the sky than the tiny boy with dark brown hair and the huge grin on his face.
"Geeeeeeeee I want apple!" Frank squeaked, jumping up and down pointing at the apple.
"Uh it's a bit high up Frankie. Your too small." He said back, biting his lip and looking up at the near sparkling apple.
"But Geeeee!" Frank whined, kneeing in front of the older. "I want it."
"But..." Gerard was cut off by frank grabbed his hands and giving him his biggest, bestest puppy dog eyes. He even added the trembling lower lip. "Ugh, fine." Gerard looked up at the apple. "You want a boost up?"
Frank jumped up, "Yeah yeah yeah Gee!" Giggling and leaping around.
"Okay come here." Gerard stood by the tree, just below the branch with the practically glowing apple on it. He knitted his hands together and told Frank to put his converse clad foot on his joint hands.
Frank was soon stretching to grab the apple, Gerard holding tightly at his feet.
"Almost... there... Frankie..." He mumbled, his arms getting sore from holding up the younger.
His hands began to ache even more and before he could register what happened, he was on the ground and a not-so-light frank landing on top of him.
The younger began giggling loudly again, his infectious laugh echoing it's way into Gerard's brain.
"Thank you Geeeee!" He squealed, slapping a sloppy kiss on the olders cheek. He jumped up and began skipping across the grass, a huge red apple clutched in his tiny hand, leaving Gerard laying on his back under the old apple tree, grinning.
