I think this chapter might just kill a few people from overly soppiness...Please review if you managed to survive this soppy chapter.
I couldn't believe this was happening, I was kissing the most amazing girl I had ever met. When she kissed me the night before I didn't want her to go. I wanted to hold her close to me for as long as I could. It shouldn't be a problem, but we both knew that it would be. Dan would make it a problem. Our lips parted and Cassie smiled up at me.
"Wow", she whispered. "I wasn't expecting that."
"What were you expecting?" I chuckled.
"For you to think I was stupid or something." She looked down at the floor.
I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me. "I would never think that." I kissed her on the forehead. "But we've got a few things to think about first before we take things any further."
She sighed, taking my hand and pulling me to the couch. We sat in silence for a moment before Cassie spoke.
"Dan is very over protective of me, especially with the people I date." Her voice was quiet. "Basically all of my relationships have ended because he has gotten in a fight with the guy."
My eyes widened slightly. "Really?" She nodded.
"He has a right to know, but I want to wait for a while before we tell him. That way we can at least spend some time together without him trying to break us up." Her eyes never left mine. "And I need to know that you really want this to happen."
"What do you mean? Of course I do." I smiled at her.
"Because I want this to work out but I don't want to have to come between you and Dan." I took one of her hands.
"Trust me Cassie, I want to be with you. But we can wait until we tell Dan and everyone else. Not even Dan could come between me and you." I leaned in again and pressed our lips together.
This time our kisses were deeper. I pulled her onto my lap and she moved so that she was straddling me. She cupped my face and I bit her lip gently, making her moan and I could get my tongue into her mouth. My hands that at first held her neck, started to wander around her delicate figure, sliding down her chest, her stomach. One of my hands stayed at her waist while the other stopped at the button of her jeans. My fingers fiddled with the button and then undid it, reaching down to the zip. Cassie hadn't realised what I was doing at first. As I pulled down her zip she gasped and grabbed my hands, pulling her mouth away. We just stared at each other for a moment until she zipped up her jeans again, and climbed off my lap. She got off the couch and backed away from me slightly.
"I... I haven't... I've never gone that far with someone before Phil." Cassie said, she looked embarassed. "I am only 16 remember."
I stood up from the couch to reach out to her and she took another step back. The way she was backing away from me, looked like she was afraid of me. As if she thought I could ever do something to hurt her.
"I would do anything for you Cassie." I said. "I will wait until you're ready. I won't force you to do anything you don't want to. And I swear that I will never do anything to hurt you."
She glanced up at me briefly. Just long enough for me to see the tears filling up in her eyes. I walked over to her, this time she didn't try to move away from me. I moved a strand of blue hair from in front of her eyes and tucked it behind her ear. She still kept her head down, but I needed to look into her beautiful brown eyes and tell her all the things I had been wanting to say. I placed one hand under her chin, and pulled her up to face me. I dried her tears with my fingers and whispered to her gently.
"Cassie I don't want you to be afraid of me. I will never hurt you. I don't want to live without you." I paused as seeing her cry like that was causing me to choke. "I would do anything for you."
Cassie smiled slightly, her fingers lightly caressed my face and I caught her hand, pressing it to my cheek. "That is all I needed to hear Phil. I feel exactly the same way, I don't want anything to change. Please don't leave me."
