This was the first word that came to Slash's mind if you ever asked him to describe Axl. Everything about Axl was beautiful to Slash, the long red hair that smelled like coconut to Slash when he buried his nose in during the night. The hair that he played with when they were watching TV, that shined when the sun was out.
His piercing green eyes that looked at Slash with full of love when they were alone, that looked into his soul when they were alone. Eyes that Slash looked into for acceptance, for that reminder that Axl loved him. His eyes told Slash everything that he needed, not his body language, not his words, his eyes told him everything. When they were around everyone else, the guards came up in Axl's eyes but when they were alone, they disappeared and let the guitarist in.
Axl's smile that warmed Slash's heart, the smile that calmed his fears. The smile that also held the lips that gave him more pleasure than sex ever could. They were gentle and loving, but passionate at the same time. Axl now allowed Slash to kiss him in public. That gave Slash the comfort that he needed, that he could kiss his boyfriend whenever he could. The word 'boyfriend' still made Slash smile like a child in a candy store.

He chuckled silently when Axl frowned, moaning before moving away, trying to doge the interruption on his sleep. He was just adorable. He then held a laugh again when seconds later, Axl turned back around and snuggled close and safely back into Slash's embrace. His face settled back to a peaceful expression as soon as his body touched Slash's.
The day after Axl told Slash properly that he loved him, they talked the whole day about if Axl wanted to be with Slash the proper way. Axl said that he wanted to but that he needed to take it slowly so that he didn't feel pressured. Slash understood that and as long as he had Axl, he didn't care either way. So they decided that they were together and took one step each day, building up the trust that they needed.
A few weeks later they told the band that they were together and got the reaction that they were not expecting. Axl expected them to be shocked and weird about it but they already knew. Duff and Steven said that they knew before they did, that they had that chemistry for a few months before they realised that.
They were shocked that the band managed to pick up on so much and they were finally happy that they didn't have to hide their relationship in front of their friends. The band told them that they didn't care, as long as they were happy. Axl was happy, he never knew that people would accept him for who he was.
Then, a few weeks later at Axl's request, they finally told the media. Slash was proud of Axl and actually cried because he was so happy. But he was even more shocked when the media and their fans embraced them even more than before. The fans couldn't care, as long as the music kept coming. The media backed off when they needed too and left them alone. Slash was happy because he was scared that, if the media gave more attention to them before, that he would pull away from Slash. But they weren't judgmental and left them to get on with it, so Slash was relieved with that.
Slash had asked Axl why the singer had told the public so soon. Axl told him that Slash deserved it, that he didn't want Slash to feel like a secret anymore. It was a gesture to show Slash that he did love him. That it was a sorry for all the shit that the he had put him through. Slash told him that he didn't need to do it but Axl said that he loved Slash and wanted to be together properly.
Slash wrapped his arms tighter around Axl, kissing the top of the singers head, his finger tips running up and down Axl's arm. Axl shivered and mumbled something in his sleep, curling his body around Slash's again.
Their relationship was going well, they were both happy. They were taking it slow, Slash wasn't pressuring Axl for anything else but Axl gave a lot to the relationship and got rid of all of Slash's fears. He knew that if Axl could do that for him, the singer really did love him. As long as Slash had that, he was the happiest man in the world. Axl was finally his and Slash had no intention on letting him go.

Slash them heard a groan next to him and looked down, and saw that Axl was slowly waking up. The redheads eyes flickered open and then he hissed and buried his face in Slash's neck,”Stupid fucking sun.”Axl cursed, and Slash chuckled, hugging Axl's body to his.
”Not funny.” The singer whimpered into Slash's ear, biting the soft skin. His tongue ran down Slash jawline then along the skin, to his collarbone, then his lips pressed kisses on his collarbone, sucking and nibbling. Slash leaned back onto the bed just as Axl climbed on top of him, his mouth still working on his skin, the kissed back up to his neck. Slash's fingers tried to play with Axl's hair, to have at least some control but Axl grabbed his hands, pinning them to either side of his head.
“Axl...” Slash whined, trying to break away so that he could touch the redhead, especially his hair. He loved that hair. Axl laughed into his ear, holding his hands tight. His lips trailed back up his jaw and kissed the side of his mouth before looking into Slash's eyes. He smirked when he saw the annoyance in the brown eyes. Slash was panting and he pleaded with Axl to do something, anything so that his hands could get free,”Shhhh...”Axl hushed him, kissing his cheek.
Seconds later, Axl's lips fell upon Slash's and he kissed him hard and fast, controlling and dominating the guitarist, the way that he knew Slash liked. Just as the kiss was getting heated, Axl made sure that Slash was into the kiss, lost in the kiss before he slowly and gently let got of his wrists. He let his own hands support his weight and smiled into the kiss when he knew that Slash hadn't even noticed that Axl had let his wrists go.
But a few seconds later, his victory was gone when he felt fingers pull at his long hair, tangling at it then when he was satisfied he was stroking it gently. Teeth bit down on Axl's lip and he gasped happily, moaning into Slash's mouth as his own hands roamed over the brunette's body. Slash kissed him for a few more minutes before he flipped them over so that Axl was on his back.
He leaned down and welcomed Axl's tongue with his own before he hid his face in the crook of Axl's neck,”Tell me,” Slash whispered into Axl's ear, his hands caressing the skin just above the waistband of Axl's boxers. Axl knew exactly what he was saying. The redhead bit his lip, smiling inside but he kept quiet.
He grabbed Slash's head, bringing his lips back to his own but Slash resisted.”C'mon,” The guitarist encouraged, rubbing his nose with Axl's. He kissed Axl's nose and the redhead looked up at Slash.”I love you. Only you.” Slash smiled, his eyes lighting up. Axl laughed, shocked at how the words had such a strong effect on him. “I love you too.” Slash responded, his lips falling back onto Axl's.
