My lips parted from Cassie's and I lifted myself up to face Dan. My hands still kept Cassie's pinned to the couch and I was still lying on her, breathing heavily with Dan staring at us from the door. Clearly from the immature grin on his face he couldn't see it was Cassie.

"Phil are you fucking some girl on our couch?" He laughed slightly but his smile disappeared as he walked closer to see me on top of his little sister. "Cassie?" He whispered.

I pulled myself out of her and stood up, starting to yank up my boxers and jeans as Dan began to glare at me, his eyes so angry. Cassie stayed on the couch and grabbed a cushion to cover herself as most of her clothes lay on the floor, besides her pants, which hung at her ankles, and her bra. Dan's eyes shifted from me to Cassie and back again.

"What the fuck is going on here?" He demanded. He pointed an accusing finger at me. "I told you that I didn't want you anywhere near Cassie if you thought of her like that and you just ignored me. Why would you do that to my little sister you sick bastard?"

"I kissed him first!" Cassie burst out. "I wanted to be with him and so I kissed him first, then I made him promise not to tell you. Or at least for a while."

"And why was that?" Dan asked sharply.

"Because I knew you would react like this." Cassie looked like she was going to end up in tears again.

"Well can you blame me?" Dan exclaimed. "After I walk in my own home to find him...doing that to you. Cassie you're so young for fucksake."

I finally decided to speak. "She's allowed to make her own decisions Dan."

"Oh really?" He turned to face me. "Because it looks like you've been making all the decisions for her. Looks like you've been manipulating a 16 year old's mind for your benefit."

"I never forced her to do anything she didn't want to." I snapped back at him.

"Fucking liar. I could see you were pinning her down"

"So what are you saying Dan?" Cassie asked. "That he forced me to do this? That it was rape?"

"Cassie dont-" he started.

"No!" She interrupted. "Phil waited until I was ready and he never forced me to do anything or hurt me in anyway."

"There is no way I'm letting you get away with doing that to my sister." He pointed in my direction again.

"I haven't done anything wrong." I said. "She's 16, it's legal and she can make her own choices."

"How long?" His voice suddenly became a lot quieter. Me and Cassie both stayed silent." I said how long?"

"I kissed him the first day we met." Cassie whispered, looking down at the couch.

Dan stared at Cassie but she wouldn't look up at him. His eyes were filled with anger and rage as they glanced between me and Cassie. Then they closed as he spoke again. "You seriously couldn't control yourself around her for even a day, Phil?"

"I kissed him first, Dan!" Cassie protested.

"Stop defending him Cass!" He shouted.

"I'm not!" She shouted. "I'm telling you the truth!" I walked over to wear Cassie's top lay on the floor and handed it to her. "Thanks Phil."

"Oh yes, isn't he such a gentleman. Dan said, his voice was a mixture of sarcasm and disgust as he spoke.

Cassie seemed to ignore his comment and slipped her purple top over her head. She pulled the sleeves over her hands once again as if it was an automatic reflex to her. The top was thankfully a long one and so she managed to stretch it to cover more of her body.

"I am telling you the truth Dan. I kissed Phil first." There was a long silence until Dan broke it.

"I don't believe you. I don't believe you would do something as stupid as that." He sounded disappointed in her.

"Don't speak to her like that." I said. "She's not a little girl Dan, so don't treat her like that."

"Well maybe she should stop acting like one then and learn to grow up." He snapped at me. "I still don't believe you were stupid enough to let him manipulate you like that and then get you to defend him."

I took a few steps towards Dan and glared at him. "She's not stupid and she knows exactly what she's doing."

"You don't get to speak for her, you fucking cunt." I flinched as Dan called me that.

"Its not my fault you never listen to anything she says!" I yelled.

Dan looked shocked for a moment before getting back to his rage. "How dare you tell me how I treat my own little sister. Who is by the way 9 years younger than you!"

"That doesn't affect how smart she is and definitely doesn't change the way I feel about her." Both of our voices were rising even more.

"She's too young to know what she's doing!" Dan shouted. "She doesn't have a fucking clue about anything!"

Cassie sat on the couch and tears rolled down her face. She stared up at the brother she used to look up to as a child. The brother that had promised to always look after her and protect her. He had just told her that he thought she was an immature little girl. She was crying but speechless as she watched her brother and boyfriend yelling at each other. Just like she told me had happened many times before. I kept glancing at her as me and Dan continued to shout at each other. I could see in her eyes that she just wanted it all to stop. But both of us just made it worse in what happened next.

"Well that just proves that I care more about Cassie than you do!" My voice was the loudest it could possibly go. That was the last thing I said before Dan's fist hit me straight in the face and Cassie screamed.
