It was the old routine
0 ReviewsOkay so please keep reading. Again my friend helped out so yeah n_n
It was the same old routine, wake up, half-way through getting dressed answer the door to Scarlett, finish getting ready and go to school. It had been a week since we had gone back and I was already waiting for the half-term. History: Luckily we had moved off the subject of demons and angels and onto a different mythical creature. I wasn't quite sure what though. I was hoping it was something else I knew about,Like vampires or werewolves. I often researched stuff like that. "You're quiet," Scarlett said, looking up at me. She grabbed my hand as we got out of the building.
"Just thinking about school," I replied, reassuring her with a smile.
"For once," she said. I started laughing, as did she, she had a point though. Before I met Quintessa, I hardly ever cared about school or about making/loosing friends, or even about the lessons but she was different, her presence didn't feel human too me.
I sat down in the spot I had been giving last week, middle row, window seat. The window was clouded with condensation, so I started to draw a demon lying wounded on the floor. It wasn't perfect, because there was only so much I could do in the condensation, but I knew the exact image, every detail. It had been stuck in my mind ever since the last war. It was the most horrifying death I had seen and the picture that I had just drawn, was only the beginning of it.

I was sat in class and Christofer decided to show up, he took a look at the window and soon was drawing away. From the look of what he was drawing, it wasn't human, it was something mythical and it was wounded. Somthing in the shape of a human, maybe a Vampire...?. My attention was caught, he couldn't be drawing a dead vampire, Was he a Vampire hunter? Well what did I care about was today being my birthday. I wasn't letting anything get me down. I decided to draw, myself, I wrote myself 'Happy Birthday to me' In my note book in big letters . I had done it since I hit highschool. The class went on and today we were learning about Vampires, I wasn't worried so much. The teacher asked "Anyone know anything about Vampires" . My hand shot up, she looked at our table but pointed to the lad next to me. "They cant stand the sunlight". I was almost in giggles, he knew loads about Demons but my species he only knew the stereotypes. "Good " The teacher said and pointed her bony finger at me, " They have sharp hearing and is said they lure victims to their death with their looks. But that' s if they are human eaters, Some could like animals blood". She looked at me. I had given a detailed description of their diet. No one knew much about them that everyone assummed they were evil killing machines. They didn't think a teenage girl (who was now 17) could be one. She blinked a few times and took her attention off me, other people put their hands up to say things like "They die from garlic" and "You kill them with a wooden stake or holly water". I wanted to laugh so hard, we only got ill from garlic and only a Silver stake would kill us. I couldn't belive how stupid the people in my class are, even one of the people who I one thought was okay, and smart.

I thought I knew quite a lot about vampires, from the books I read. They seemed pretty stereotypical, but it seemed about right. Quintessa looked at us all, she seemed liked she was humoured about our answers. I ignored her, she hadn't talked to me since last Monday. My attention was distracted by her notebook 'Happy Birthday to me.' I felt the need to say Happy Birthday but it didn't seem like she was going to talk to me ever again. The teacher started talking again, "So, how do the Demons, Angels and Vampires relate?" She asked, hoping that one of us knew. My hand shot up. "Christofer?"
"They weren't at first, they kept to their own business. Then the wars started and vampires became involved. People put them to the demon side, because they stereotyped them to drink human blood therefore they could no way be on the side of the 'great' angels. " I coughed, "but it wasn't like that. The vampires and demons did communicate, but it didn't mean they were on their side, they actually stayed out of the entire ordeal." The teacher nodded. I looked down again, I had said my bit and I was done.

He only ever was good when it involved Demons and Angels, he could of grown up with them but I wasn't sure. I kept my mouth shut, seen as I was waiting for him to talk to me before i cave in and talk to him. He was going to have to beg for my forgiveness, I had learned a lot about the Vampire kind helping out the demons, my mum would often talk about how my grandad was a great vampire warrior who helped the demons. Appariently my grandad had saved 12 demons from dying and sent them and their familys to earth. My grandad was well known, my family had been important in the Vampire world and we would go to all the grand balls. We clossed up the lessons and went to our next Lesson, In the hallway I saw Vance, he gave me a hug and I went to my lesson. It was maths. My maths teacher made me stand up and everyone sing Happy birthday, He would always embarrass everyone like that. I sat down the rest of the lesson and when it ended, I made my way to the library. Vance was in the corner in our usual spot. He had me my book out on the table in front, I set down my stuff gave Vance a hug and opened my book.
