I saw him again today. He dyed his hair red. He's not gonna fit in anymore. For the first time since he returned to my life, he wasn't with his brother. He was alone, stepping onto the subway. Today would've been a perfect day to get him, but I need to continue to find out more about him from a distance, to improve my strategies. I've missed him so much..
Xoxo - Frank.
Gerard Way reclutantly taken a seat on the subway, he wasn't fussed about the coughing man behind him. No, Gerard Way was in shock. It couldn't be.. Could it? Gerard and Mikey had moved to New York in a bid to escape Gerard's past, to escape the haunting of his past. But now, it seems the past has caught up with him. Gerard - still in deep shock - taken out his phone and tapped out a text to Mikey.
Message: Mikey. I saw him again. He looks so different. He was just staring at me, like right at me. Mikey, I saw Frank..
Gerard was sure that he'd seen Frank. He'd just stood there, with his hood up, his eyes boring straight into Gerard's. A short moment after Gerard had text Mikey, he got a reply.
Message: It couldn't have been Frank. Frank's dead, Gerard. I thought we'd left all of this behind?..
But now, Gerard worst fears had been confirmed. Frank wasn't dead, he was very alive, and he was here in New York. Perhaps, it was a coincidence that he was there at the same time. Perhaps, he was just as stunned to see him as Gerard was to see him.
"Frankie, I'm so sorry.." Gerard murmured under his breath, to himself. Gerard got off the subway at the next stop. He began running. He just let his feet carry him to wherever the wanted to go. It's then that they ended up at the house that he and Frank had wanted to buy when they were grown up, except this time, it was already occupated.
