A Shortened History
0 ReviewsThere are 6 main countries unlike the world you know, the 6 different tribes travelling inbetween each, not yet deciding who owned what. There were many different other lands that were formed in the vast seas, but no-one needed them and didn't mind to travel to them
Then one day, during a powerful lightening storm struck in which the people were terrified it was the end for them. There landed a rock, impacted deep into a crater. The six people of the six leading tribes went down to examine it, each one touching it and opening their eyes fully to a new beginning.
One man touched the rock and saw power for his people, they saw a monarchy and a powerful army and castles made from the strongest of rocks and people admiring their race. He was called Dawson and he lead the Humans.
The second man touched the rock and saw knowledge, and powers over alchemy and medicine. He saw his race as the people who were visited for information, who everyone depended on, living in vast halls decorated with books and scrolls of writings, of relics of lost and long ago battles. His name was Aelfdane and he lead the Elves.
The third man touched the rock and saw power, darker than that of man, he saw his people ruling in tyranny and everyone else doing there biding, they controlled everything and every property, buildings that towered the skies, feasting and the best weaponery however they held a weakness over darkness and a feast for blood. His name was Adis and he lead the Lamia.
The fourth man and fifth men being both good friends touched the rock together.
The fourth saw his people creating medicines and helping the animals who lived in the forrests, defending the pure and innocent and being of good mind, living in the forrest and using its natural magic. The fifth saw his people living the forrests too, the nature giving them the ability to change their shape into variant animals and could connect with them and read minds, they were pure of heart building beautiful houses into the hillsides. His name was Bartemius and he lead the mystics. The other was Fafnir and he lead the shapeshifters.
The last man touched the stone and saw his people living in freedom and health, dancing to music and partying and drinking, living in the sun and by the glorious sparkling oceans on the beaches in houses made out of beautiful stone. They had the power of beautiful voice that was hypnotic. His name was Oberon and he was the leader of the nymphs.
The six colonies all wanted the precious stone for their dreams for themselves and their species and thence the unfortunate war began for the stone that lasted for decades. Adis had been given an malificent power became mad with power and rage, soon the other five colonies were fighting for survival against him and his armies of darkness. The five came to an agreement that they would all take a country of their own for their people and share the power of the stone. The only thing that would stand in their way was Aldis.
In the last battle of Tenebris the five colonies fought together to overthrow the Lamia leader. Few people survived the battle but founding survivors started a counsel, they didn't judge the Lamia so bad as they were only doing what their leader had commanded.
The lamia were allowed a Governor once more, Adis' grandson Malum, he wanted his people to be free again and without fear, the Lamia's cost of battle was having the smallest country and not as many rights as the other colonies.
The colonies lived in peace once more, travelling and trading between each others kingdom. If you wanted good weaponry and armour you knew the Kingdom of Man was best for it, the Kingdom of Elves for information, The Kingdom of Mystics & Shapeshifters for healing and health and the Kingdom of Nymphs for glorious celebration. The 'Kingdom' of Lamia did not get very much trade however they were hard workers and were rewarded for their efforts with gifts from the other kingdoms.
Although the peace, there were still tribes who believed their species needed the stone more than the others and wars and battles still raged for possession of the Stone.
