“Looking forward to going home?” The guitarist glanced up from the christmas present he’d been wrapping into the singer’s green orbs as he smiled, giddy excitement shining through his answer
“Yeh it’s gonna be great!” Axl grinned, enjoying the childish glee that his younger partner expressed as his expression contorted into one of intense concentration as he balanced the scissors on top of the fold in the gaudy paper to quickly snap a piece of sellotape off and stick it into place, his ring twinkling in the dim lights
“That looks a lot better than I imagined” Axl remarked as DJ haphazardly stuck a bow on then tossed the last gift into his suitcase, flashing a grin at the singer as he glanced at the ring
“I know, I love it” he said crawling across the floor as Axl lay back on the hotel carpet, uncrossing his legs “Even more cause it came from you” the smile turning the singer’s lips changed as a shy blush crept across his face and DJ’s fingers played with the cheap jelly bracelets adorning his thin wrists “You know what this one means?” he asked quietly lifting his wrist by the pink band he’d hooked his finger into, Axl shook his head “Kissing” DJ murmured simply a laugh lighting his lips as the pink on Axl’s cheeks grew darker as he whispered
“You wanna snap it?” in answer he shifted his fingers around until Axl’s could grip the band comfortably as well and leaned in to claim the singer’s soft mouth as the reluctant band stretched and finally snapped as Axl’s hands moved to cup DJ’s face happily.
